I was site supervisor for almost a year at transcend, I never complained about the heat or my schedule (even though it changed every two weeks). I asked if we could have the number of checkpoints on our foot patrol brought down from 43 to 21. My reason was we had lost two guards and the new guards would leave and never come back or wouldn’t do the foot patrols at all. “I’m not gonna sit here and sympathize with you we have sites with more checkpoints” that’s what they told me. This is the first Security company that I have worked for. I been here 9 months and When I work with different people at different sites we get to talking and for most guards here they have worked for different security companies too. So I ask how is this company compared to others and they say by far this one is the best. And i believe that, I have not had one bad experience here, I can honestly say this is one of the best jobs I have ever had. Soc helps me by giving me extra open shifts when needed, providing me with all the information I need for the site, and if i have a question they are always

Don't care about the security officers. Never can get them on the phone and can't leave message because box is always full. They don't know the procedure if someone gets hurt on the job. Get the run around. The SOC needs more practice on to handle situations. One of their officers got hurt on the job and the person was told to stay at work or they will get an abanded post. The only way the person can leave if they were dying. The officer couldn't leave even if they called ambulance. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I workout early in the morning in the Peoria area and one of their guards that works in the Parkwest area off of Northern harasses me. He sits behind my vehicle every time I show up. He approached me when I was getting my bag out of my truck and asked me what I was doing. Ive called the cops and to have a record of him. He said his name was Albert. He doesn’t follow anyone else. I don’t know why but I can guess. If you see a guy that has a ponytail around 1am to 4am. Just beware and be safe.

Prior to Transcend, I worked for a public library as helping the growth of my local community has always been my prime motivation. I applied for Transcend with the intention of getting my foot through the door in the field of public safety.
The administrative assistant Pam was so nice to me and helped me get my guard card. The HR Representative at the time, Jenn, conducted a thorough interview and moved me to a second round interview with the Scheduling Manager at the time Anthony. Both Jenn and Anthony were so friendly and professional that I felt I was not only joining a team, but a family.

Transcend is an amazing company to work for so long as you do your job correctly. I’ve been with Transcend for two years and plan on renewing my guard card to continue my employment. Management is entirely understanding in the right situations and will work to accommodate you as best they can. When issues arise if you simply ask for an explanation or aid they will provide assistance. Many of the management team is experienced with either business or have done security themselves. I tend to need medical time off and they ALWAYS allow it and send their best wishes. Most people who dislike this

From the time I was hired and the time I unfortunately lost my job at Transcend they were always professional when handling problems. Upper Management are great to help and try to accommodate everything as far as scheduling. I regret losing my job here all the supervisors I had were great and treated me decently. Nothing bad to say at all.

So i Work for this company now and i have worked for numerous security companies some great and some not so great with security its hard to find a good company. With transcend I have worked the patrols in the HOA and I have also worked the HOA guard houses. The company is one of the best ones I have ever worked for the care about their employees and also their clients.
