If you are experiencing painful swelling in the back of your foot just above the heel, you may be suffering from Achilles Tendonitis. This troublesome condition affects the Achilles tendon, which is the strongest and largest tendon in the body and connects the leg to the foot as it stretches from the lower leg to the heel bone.
Typically occurring in both feet, brachymetatarsia is a condition characterized by a short metatarsal. The foot has five metatarsals and this condition results in one shortened toe. If more than one of the long bones of the foot is affected, it is known as brachymetapody.
The causes of brachymetatarsia are genetic or situational, meaning that you can be born with it or it can be induced by premature closure in the metatarsal growth plate due to a trauma. If you suffer from brachymetatarsia, you may find it difficult to properly balance or smoothly transfer weight across the toes when walking or running.

Most often found on the inner foot near the big toe but sometimes located on the fifth toe, bunions are a painful yet common condition caused by inflammation of the bursa. Bursa resides in the connective tissues of the bodies and is essentially a small fluid filled sac. The inflammation and thickening of these sacs creates a problematic bone formation that forces the toe out of alignment and causes great discomfort.

Dr. Park seems like a very incompetent podiatrist. I had some toe nail issues I wanted to get checked out due to running long distances. I told him I was only concerned about certain nails being discolored, and I told him I knew it wasn't a fungal infection after getting consultation from multiple other doctors and I just wanted to get the outside layer removed.
As soon as he heard the phrase "fungal infection", he went on for 10 minutes telling me that I should not worry about it being a fungal infection, which is exactly what I had said in the first place and he just wasted those 10 mins. Seems

Dr. Park performed bunion surgery on my left foot in Dec. '20. I am super active and had postponed surgery for years for fear of being offline for too many months. COVID turned out to be the right time for me, and Dr. Park treated me as a whole human being. He listened and learned about how important running/biking is for me, and tailored his treatment to get me back running/biking very quickly. Dr. Park is a great person and physician.

Dr. Ted Park is awesome! I’ve been to him twice now..once for a cyst, and another for glass in my foot. (I broke a wine glass and apparently didn’t get all the pieces.) I went to Dr. Park because a colleague recommended him. He was voted by his peers as Seattle’s Best. I can see why...he is incredibly professional, and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Dr. Park is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, he seems to really care for his patients. He is empathetic, takes the time to explain things thoroughly, and is so good at what he does. I’ve recommended family and friends to Dr. Park, and he will always be my go-to doctor for anything related to the knee and below!

Very disappointing and unpleasant visit with Dr Ted Park.
1. Not punctual.
My appointment is at 10:30am and he came 30 mins late without any apologies.
2. Diagnosis without fully knowing patient’s history.
After he checked with my broken feet nails, he diagnosed its caused from the recent intense training and the damage is irreversible, without offering me any suggestions on how to mitigate the current situation. And insisted that it’s not caused by fungus.
3. Offer arbitrary and confusing treatment.
After I brought up my concern of nail fungus which maybe related, he didn’t even offer

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and detail-oriented.
I received two services from Dr. Park.
The first time I visited I suffered from ingrown toenails that were preventing me from walking properly. He performed a surgery that promptly removed the pain. My toe nails have not given me any problems since the operation over three years ago.
The second time was when I obtained orthotics. Over time, my knees stopped hurting after wearing the orthotics as per his detailed instructions since it enforced better posture while walking.
For anything foot and ankle related, Dr. Park is your go-to professional

The clinic does not support payment plans. Once the bill is in it is expected in full. I paid my bill in full and then got two calls asking to verify my address, when I returned the call to see what mail had been returned, they confirmed my account was already paid in full so nothing was needed.
A week later I received the same call after confirming they had he correct address and again she said my account was paid in full so no action was needed.
The care and after care was skimmed over - this clinic only cares about money.

Dr. Park is incredibly kind & caring. He suggested natural, conservative remedies to my issues, instead of just cutting into me or prescribing aggressive medication. My pain & discomfort has been resolving without nasty side effects, and I am very appreciative of that.
Scheduling with the office is a bit of a challenge, because they do not have online scheduling or a way to fill out forms online, but it is worth the hurdle to see a doctor who genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. This is definitely not a place that tries to get you in and out as fast as possible – everyone on

I Googled best Podiatrist in Bellevue, WA and Dr. Ted Park & his colleague Dr. Glen Curda appeared as one of the 1st listings. Eastside Podiatry is a small practice that is run by the 2 providers Park & Curda. Everyone there is very nice and they make you feel welcome. It's not a huge chain medical practice like Evergreen or Swedish and that is one of the many things I love about being a patient there! I see Dr. Park and I absolutely love him! I had a surgical procedure called an arthrodesis on my right foot (toes #2 & 3)6 weeks ago yesterday. Basically the bones of my toes have been fused to fix
