Confident that we could produce a finish that would replicate the reclaimed wood look and feel, we began the process of building a successful business.
Starting small, one customer at a time, Montana Timber Products began selling Fir siding and timbers to a few local builders in Southwest Montana. Today, Montana Timber Products has grown to be the largest supplier of specialized rustic wood building materials in the United States. We have expanded our product lines, increased color options, added Cedar, and focused on our production processes to bring our customers a great value based product.

At Montana Timber Products, we developed our product lines to match your unique design styles. And we put the same quality and care into each one. Choose from ranchwood, AquaFir, and Charwood. These pre-finished natural wood products are manufactured from newly milled lumber in Douglas Fir or Cedar.
Bring a timeless, rustic character to your home or project with ranchwood, Montana Timber Product's flagship product line. The varied wood grains in each board are accentuated by our proprietary finishing process to create something as unique as your own fingerprint. The ranchwood Weathered - the same ranchwood style and colors, but with lighter tones that are further distressed to appear even more aged.
Inspired by the feedback of our loyal customers, we developed the ranchwood Artisan series. This product line is an offshoot of our ranchwood line with all the same character and quality, yet it offers additional color contrasting highlights. We named it "Artisan" because of the way it is made - every board receives an extra level of personal craftsmanship.

Montana Timber Products has never done me wrong - I ordered a stack of charwood siding for my new home in Eastern Idaho. Product arrived a bit behind schedule, but the quality was superior to other vendors. The lumber industry has been in turmoil for a couple years, so I can't knock them for late delivery.
Additionally working with the folks at MTP has always been a pleasure. They answer the phone every time and make the process super easy.
