I grew up in the sunny hills of Northern California, just a short drive from San Francisco. And if you live nearby or have been lucky enough to visit in the springtime, you know how those hills blanketed in wildflowers take your breath away. Is it really a surprise that a girl who grew up surrounded by wildflowers and elegant winery weddings became a wedding florist?
While I initially planned a life working in the hospitality industry, there was something about the art of floral design that tugged me back over and over again. I handmade bouquets for family events and friends, refining my skills and learning the magic of color balance and texture. Then, in 2011, my whole world changed: I launched my very own full-service, boutique floral design studio.

LC Floral Design did absolutely gorgeous florals for our August wedding at the Berkeley City Club. We gave just general ideas of what we wanted and she took it from there and made beautiful arrangements for my bridal bouquet and the centerpieces. The highlight was the ceremony - the backdrop with the greenery and florals was stunning. Laura was extremely easy to work with - knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and efficient with everyone's time. I highly recommend!!

I am still speechless thinking about the gorgeous designs Laura did for our wedding. It was straight out of a fairytale and I cannot begin to express how in love I am with how everything turned out. Unfortunately I don't feel Laura took the time to really understand my vision. She showed no pictures and ignored my request for a meeting, but still sent me a quote. I ended up not choosing her bc it felt that she just wanted business and not a relationship. Maybe my budget wasn't high enough. This is my honest impression. Maybe it was a mistake and I wish her success with her business. She was clearly preferred by my venue and others.

Laura was amazing! She was very easy to work with and her work turned out beautifully on our wedding day at The Bridges Golf Club. From the beginning Laura was always willing and ready to meet with us to discuss details, and she put us at ease with her knowledge and expertise. There are not enough positive things I can say about using LC Floral Design for my wedding. My florals were absolutely stunning - more than I could have even hoped for. The centerpieces, chuppah, bouquets, sweetheart table...everything! The complements on how beautiful the floral designs were have not stopped!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Laura. From the beginning, she was an amazing resource. She listened to our vision, gave constructive input to make sure we stayed within budget, and made herself available to bounce ideas off of her throughout the process. What else can I say about Laura except for WE LOVED HER! We loved her; attention to detail, her thoughtfulness (she sent US a thank you gift box), the way she was able to interpret our ideas and turn it into reality, her suggestions when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted, her ability to continuously follow up if we had questions and on and on! Laura with LC Designs came highly recommended by our wedding planner, Lindsay, with Lindsay Lauren Events. I was so impressed with Laura's artistic vision with all things floral that we went on to hire her before asking for quotes! We hired Laura about 13 months prior to our wedding date, and you better believe I took full advantage of those months asking question upon question- at all hours of the night, no less!

Laura is fantastic! She was our florist for our wedding and exceeded our expectations in every way. Laura did a fabulous job for my wedding! I wasn't totally sure what I wanted my vision to be so I changed a couple of things each time we talked. Laura was so accommodating and gave me great suggestions about what to do. Even so, I wasn't sure how they would turn out the day of. I couldn't have be happier! The bouquets were beautiful, the centerpieces were magnificent. The ombre aisle petals were beyond perfection. Let's be real, Laura is the BEST if you are looking for dreamy, lush, out of this world florals for any occasion. My husband and I chose LC Floral Design for our wedding florals at the Palm Event Center in late September. This was hands down, the best decision ever! My first encounter with her was a preliminary meeting to discuss my vision and style, and to figure out the quantity of arrangements. She followed up with a comprehensive quote later that evening and I was pleasantly surprised - I ordered for A LOT of flowers and she made it happen within our budget.
