SouthEnd Painting was started by Todd Cahill in 2000. He has been in the construction field since high school. Todd went to Central Piedmont Community College and studied construction management. During those years he worked for Young's landscaping and Design located in Charlotte. Then he moved in to the painting industry and estimated for a large residential/commercial paint contracting firm in NC.
As time passed Todd took on a greater responsibility of running his own company. SouthEnd painting started with one paint crew and now supports over 60 qualified craftsmen and a full time office staff. Company Trust Every year SouthEnd completes up to 1000 individual paint jobs from residential repaints, muti-family military housing, to large industrial and commercial contracts.

The sales process and scheduling worked well. The 1st proposal seemed to be missing some details so I provided a detailed diagram with paint codes and locations for work. I included an area that needed carpentry work. I received a revised quote with additional cost. I accepted it. The crew showed up on a Monday confused about what to wash and paint. They lacked direction and supervision. The work performed was unprofessional, incomplete and messy. After I addressed issues with the owner the crew returned and corrected some of them. Noel and crew did an awesome job painting our house. It was a huge project and they showed up on time, cleaned up, worked hard in the blistering heat and even hung a swing for me as a favor in the end! I'd hire them again for any project.

We had several people quote us for exterior painting for our last home. The roof had a very high and steep peak, I believe it was a turn off for several people to quote. Southend quoted, out of the 3 quotes they were right in the middle, we chose them due to having proof of insurance without asking and scope of work.
Workers showed up as scheduled and completed the job in a few days. They did a great job, everything we requested was done and they cleaned up after themselves.

Received a Quote to get poles Painted which they did but wanted more money to do the tops. Make sure they Quote the complete jobs.
Not a Very Good First and Only time using them.
Todd Michael I did not request more work to be done I asked for a Quote to paint the light fixtures in out parking lot. Not part of them the whole fixture. But once you got here you told me that would be more so you got us for $800.00 so I write this in rebuttal to your review which is false you got paid in full. So have a drink on me it what you are.

All aspects of this transaction were positive. Billy Dale came out to review the job and give recommendations and then promptly submitted a proposal (one of 3 quotes I got prior to selecting a vendor). The quote was the most detailed and least expensive. Once accepted, the office called to schedule the work, the crew showed up on time and were neat, professional and polite. Payment was due on satisfactory completion of the work - who does that?!? I have recommended them and will use them again.
