In 1990 Chris started Chris' Locksmith Shop in the small SW Kansas town of Ulysses. Chris quickly started building his business, modeling it after his own father's business strategy. Those same principles of Quality Work, Affordable Prices, and Quality Products are what Chris used to grow his business. Over the years Chris had grown his business to meet the needs of customers all over SW Kansas and the Panhandle. Chris' Locksmith Shop quickly grew to a shop location, two service vans, and 5 employees.

Highly recommended! Recently had a problem with a new Browning safe from Cabelas not opening. Rather than deal with a major return at a big box store I called Urban Lockwerx and not only did they resolve the problem (which was related to the construction of the safe) they submitted a warranty claim for me to the actual manufacturer. Friendly, Timely, Professional, and competent! Wouldn't consider anyone else!

Very pleased with the service we received for re-keying our new home. They were very knowledgeable and willing to answer my additional questions about types of locks. Although they were running behind, they texted to let me know which I appreciated. The price was extremely reasonable. Will be using them again for any locksmith needs!

I go to urban with all of my locksmithing needs. I've had multiple rental properties re-keyed, and I've used them on my personal home as well. They are highly processional, and do an excellent (and fast!) job. I've also had multiple locksets installed, as well as new entry handles etc, all with the same level of workmanship. Will definitely use again.
