Maui DJ Services was brought to life in 2010 by ambitious businessman and entertainer, Scott Doran aka DJ ScottyD. Scott served six years as the Director of Creative Event Services at The Ritz-Carlton on Maui's West Side, where he specialized in entertainment booking and decor for exclusive occasions.

Knew how to create a consistent and smooth flow of music across very diverse genres. Also Scott was helpful with his advice in picking out the walk-out song. He was responsive to our requests throughout the wedding and had great energy as well as being every friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone else.

Maui DJ Services was excellent! They really dialed in all of our special request songs, guest requests and made our wedding at the Westin in Maui just perfect. They really kept the party going and everyone had a fantastic time. I've never danced so much at wedding and am so happy I finally did and it was my own wedding!

Let me just start by giving Scott and his team a huge round of applause, and a heart filled thank you!
We had a majority Spanish speaking wedding party, so it was a little daunting having to count on a what I assume is a primarily English speaking dj crew to help us dance the night away.

The folks at Maui DJ were extremely helpful during this process! My wedding venue changed a little less then 2 weeks before the event day. Not only was Maui DJ very flexible about changing venues for the reception, but they even tried to offer other venues for us to look into. This truly made me feel less stressed in an already very stressful situation. Once the venue was changed, Maui DJ was already prepared to use this new site. The day of the event, the DJ's assigned to my event were professional, on time, and were able to preform even with the very specific time constraints placed on them due

We hired Maui DJ Services through our venue, Royal Lahaina, and we cannot express how amazing they were! We were planning a destination wedding and had not met with them before hiring, but they have an awesome online form that thoroughly goes through your wedding day timeline, music requests, music likes and dislikes, and more! Our DJ/MC was Michael and he did fantastic!! We did not meet him until after our grand entrance into the reception, but he worked with our coordinator and played the perfect music all evening and night! Michael followed

Scott and his team did an awesome job from start to finish! Music breathes life to any event and it definitely set the vibe to our wedding. He assisted with any requests and questions just days leading up to the wedding (like a trivia game and beer chugging contest) and was nice to work with a last minute bride like me. 10/10 recommend!!!

We had Scott with Maui DJ Services as our wedding DJ per recommendation by our wedding coordinator and we could not have been more pleased! They have a website to fill in all the songs for the special events (first dance, cake cutting, etc) as well as describe the type of music you'd like, very easy to use! We didn't make a lot of requests for general music but Scott played great music all night long and our guests really enjoyed it. Scott and his assistant were also incredibly kind and professional. Maui DJ Services DJ'd our January 2020 wedding at Olowalu Plantation House and they were fantastic. While we didn't meet Scott in person until the day of the event (destination wedding!), they were really easy to work with. The online portal they provided us was easy to use and comprehensive, and Scott was responsive to all our questions and requests (including working with a family member directly who prepared a slideshow for the wedding).
