Long before building a fleet of eighteen snow plows and salt trucks, Akron Outdoor Maintenance owners Shannon Carneal and Greg Guello knew what it meant to business owners to have clear roads and safe lots in the winter months. Greg's father, Richard, had cleared snow with a '76 Trailduster, and had gotten Greg into plowing at the young age of sixteen.
Working together, best friends Greg and Shannon quickly realized the difference they could make for local businesses by providing reliable commercial snow plowing in Akron and the surrounding suburbs. In 1993, Greg and Shannon founded Akron Outdoor Maintenance, Inc. and built their business on the principle that nothing can top timely, dependable service.
