My first time working with Cakes On The Move and they did an outstanding job! Everything from the first call to the delivery and set-up was professional. I contacted them to make 2 birthday cakes for 80 guests. Darlene was so nice, professional & accommodating. She spent the time on the phone with me to discuss what I wanted the cake to look like and she provided great suggestions. She also provided a sneak peek of the cake beforehand and communicated with the venue for an on-time delivery and set-up. I'm so glad I used her for my event. I highly recommend Cakes On The Move for any wedding event. Darlene was so personable, professional & accommodating. One of of my guest had allergies and Darlene made special cupcakes just for her. The table was set up so beautiful. The cake was BEAUTIFUL & what's more it was delicious!! We had to pick someone to make or cake rather blindly as we live in MD & the wedding was taking place in Vegas. The restaurant mentioned 2 places where as there would be no cutting fee. Darlene is amazing!! She is SO incredibly sweet! She made a cake for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary! We wanted it to kind of be a replication of their actual wedding cake, carrot cake with yellow daisies. She hit it out of the park! Her beautiful work brought tears to my in law's eyes! I had Darlene create a custom cake for a premiere party for TLC's Doubling Down with the Derricos! She made an amazing and delicious cake that had these beautiful chocolate photos of the family on the cake! We had a baseball tournament in Henderson and we wanted to celebrate my husbands birthday with our team while we were there. I found Darlene on Yelp and I couldn't be happier with my cake. Darlene was fabulous in providing my wedding cake. It was delivered delicately and early. She even included a picture of the final cake before the reception.
She was 100% responsive to all text messages. And very flexible, sweet and easy to work with.

Darlene was an absolute sweetheart to work with. I came from out of state and was unsure which bakery to go with. All the positive reviews online made me decide to go with Cakes on the move. I did not regret it. I got the top tier cake as lemon with raspberry filling and bottom tier as chocolate with chocolate mousse. Both very delicious :)

Due to COVID my parents had to cancel their huge 50th anniversary bash. We ended up throwing small bash for them and Darlene created the most beautiful cake that captured both my mother and fathers style. In addition to being gorgeous it was delicious!!! Darlene is a joy to work with, it is very apparent she takes pride and enjoys her craft. I would definitely recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

Darlene of Cakes on the Move is a fantastic to work with. Since I was planning my wedding long-distance, I wasn't able to do any cake tastings so I went with Darlene based on a recommendation and the service I received from the moment I first contacted her. Let me tell you - her cake does not disappoint! I went with a small 6 inch cake and cupcakes. She had me send her a photo of my wedding dress to show the lace pattern on it and matched the edible lace on the 6 inch cake with my dress! It was stunning, not to mention absolutely delicious. Darlene is the best!!!! We were so lucky to have her cater not one but two events! Her pies for thanksgiving were absolutely divine! STOP! If you found this place stop your search and just order here! When it came to a wedding cake I was lost. I was an out of state bride and didn't know if I should go through the trouble of getting a cake that I couldn't try first (I'm not much of a cake person anyways) However Cakes on the Move was the preferred vendor for my venue so I went through with it. I'm so glad I did! Darlene is such a fun & kind personality! Darlene's cakes are absolutely FANTASTIC. We couldn't have found a better cake baker! Hiring her to create our wedding cake was the best decision we could've made for the wedding! We called her to also throw in a 95th birthday cake for our grandmother. And now, we called her at the very last minute to make a Power Rangers cake for our new 6 year old! Darlene is wonderful, her design for our wedding cake was a 10/10, plus, it was one of the most delicious cakes I have ever tasted! One of my pet peeves is seeing something beautiful and then it tasting bad, and Darlene was the opposite of this. I would recommend her 100%! Delicious and beautiful cake! Wonderful lady behind it! We had a great time planning our cake with Darlene and it came out better than we even imagined. We got to taste some delicious options at our cake tasting and then left the rest up to Darlene for our dream wedding cake. She did not disappoint!
