Lots of road noise if you are out in front camping. Staff very nice and helpful. Would have been better if they had opened all the port a potties in the camp ground area we where in. We had to keep asking to get a second one opened and by the time they did that the first one was full. We had a group of about 50 people so multiple bathrooms for 5 days was a necessity. They had 3 port a potties in our area / they all should have been opened. The mini golf area needs to have the weeds removed. It does not look like it is taken care of very well. It is a $1 donation for each kid to play which was nice

Was heading camping at an old favorite campsite on DNR land when I learned it was closed the week prior for fire danger.
I’ve literally passed this campground over a hundred times driving eastbound through Cle Elum n I-90 and never knew of this place.
While the buildings are older they are very well cared for and CLEAN. The staff is exceptionally helpful and direct. I even spent a couple of hours hanging and talking trash with one of the groundskeepers (Rick) while his grandchildren played on the background.
Definitely will stay here again and enjoyed the break from monotonous city work life

Really nice and helpful folks working here. They have gone above and beyond to make our stay great. You can get decent privacy and it’s a nice wooded piece of land with a lot of summer camp kind of kitsch. Seems as if all are welcome here, and it’s really the best prices around considering you get hookups and all.
Garbage and dump station: $1.00
Plus, the office has some merch and snacks, as well as the best prices on ice and propane in town. Free hot showers and they have laundry. Mini golf, horseshoes, and a small playground.
I love it here for all that it is, but note that you get noise

Stopped here on bike trip down the rail trail. About the only place for nice organized campground in that area, especially after riding from Cle Elum in softer gravel section..camp host was very nice and checkin was simple with bonus of buying cold sodas and ice cream at office after long day on bikes. Showers and bathrooms nice and clean and there is a coin washer and dryer for laundry and large youth building with big tv and pool table and mini golf outside..this youth building was nice and cool on hot day and the sink water was cold and delicious. We stayed in basic site for tent and Only stayed

We recently came back from a trip to Eagle Valley Campground. There's a great line from Hotel California that describes this place perfectly - "This could be heaven or this could be hell"
What might not be immediately apparently is that this campground is RIGHT next to Interstate 90. Some of the spots are less than 100 feet from the cars and… trucks whizzing past. If you check the map of the campground, the 42, 43 spots are the closest to the freeway. If you are planning on using a tent any spots from #35-52 are going to be very loud. (We started out in #48 and there was too much road noise
