Absolutely the best experience we've had moving. James, Jamie, Juan, and Nick were absolute professionals. Friendly and hard working. Susan and Joe were very responsive, and gave us easily the best estimate compared to the competition. Worth every penny, and without a doubt our recommendation to anyone who will listen moving forward.

I hired J. Palermo to move furniture from Lakewood Ranch, FL to Chapel Hill, NC. There were 2 pick up locations in LWR. I received quotes for 6 moving companies before hiring J Palermo, and they were on the high mid-range of the quotes. I also looked at the reviews, Better Business Bureau and licensing boards and spoke with various moving supply companies. Only our possessions were moved on the truck, we had a firm pick up and delivery date and price, and they provided their insurance documentation. The employees are their employees and not contract. The move was accomplished without any problems

We just moved and used J. Palermo Moving and Storage. What stood out for me in deciding to use this business was that the owner, Joe Palermo, comes out for the estimate. He does not brag or put down other movers, but gave me a sense of confidence when I could speak with the owner face-to-face. By the way, he also showed up on both ends of the move, a nice touch. The movers themselves are courteous and good- they had no problem taking apart or putting back together furniture. The person we spoke with at their office, Susan, was a great help as well.
