A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye. It can be compared to a window that is frosted or yellowed. The amount and pattern of cloudiness within the lens can vary. If the cloudiness is not near the center of the lens, you may not be aware that a cataract is present. There are many misconceptions about cataract.

We had an unacceptable experience with Dr. Albert Munn. My husband is an Army vet with documented peripheral loss and we travelled all the way from Snead’s Ferry to your Raleigh office. Dr. Munn was very snide and verbatim told my husband that even though his results corroborated what he had been given, the tests are “inaccurate and boring!” He then offered no further explanation concerning the health of his eye or explained why he was so dismissive. As you can imagine, my husband left feeling very confused. I am appalled. If the tests are inaccurate, WHY is a highly educated ‘doctor’

I took my grandpa here and he has been going to this place for 12 years. The way he grew up he was use to having to wait for whites to go before him but being that I am 20 years old I'm not use to this type of behavior especially in this day and age. We came early to the appointment about 30mins early and they made us wait for reasons unknown. Every white person that walk thru the door the seen before us even those without an appointment I wish this place can get less than a 1 star sincerely an African American granddaughter
