Cream of the Crop is a small town ice cream shop serving locally made soft serve and premium hand-dipped ice cream in the heart of Wakeman, Ohio. Turn south at the light and it's just one block down on the right (next to the barber shop). Traditional and specialty ice cream cakes made to order with our delicious quality ice cream and ingredients right in our shop!

We are closed for the season but you can still order custom ice cream cakes all year round.

Ice cream was very good. Store is extremely small. Went to take My daughter there tonight, but there were a bunch of kids in there just hanging out and didn't want to try to go in because of the lack of space.

Absolutely amazing experience. In a time where staffs seem to be short tempered and stressed this was a little slice of heaven. Very clean,we were met with smiles,and the ice cream was made locally. There were flavors here I've never heard of. What a yummy end to our day.

The chili cheese dog here is worth the stop alone but they also have great ice cream.

The service was very friendly. The ice cream was great, too. The shop is very small and that restriction limits their ability to have a large selection of flavors but we will definitely be back to try more.

This place is fantastic!! I ordered a reese birthday cake yesterday for the hubs and it was hands down the best ice cream cake we've ever ate!! My family was sad we only got the 6inch which was plenty for all 6 of us but next time we'll be getting a bigger size for left overs. If you need an ice cake skip the other places and order from here you will not be disappointed. Happy to have such good ice cream in wakeman.
