This is the best salon I have ever been to. Joseph is meticulous and really takes pride in his work. The staff is efficient, friendly and professional. Everyone works together to get the job done. Greatest relaxing hair salon experience. Came out of there looking like a million bucks. Expert colorist and my haircut is spot on what I asked for. My hair feels like silk & looks so healthy. I had a Brazilian Blowout done by Joseph, and I can't get over how well it turned out. My hair is thick and frizzy, with some wave, and now it's incredibly smooth and soft. It's holding up very well in the humidity and it's so much easier to style now. I love it!
Joseph was very kind in walking me through all of the options for my hair type. He asked me about my hair goals as well as my history of treatments and gave me recommendations based on this. He's incredibly thorough and I can't recommend him enough!

Jospeh is amazing! Changed my life! I did the Japanese hair straightening. I have coarse hair with different curl patterns so this was a good option for me. The appointment went really well, even though it ended up being more of a consultation because I didn't have the money on me for the treatment I wanted (Keratin). I will most definitely be coming back! Great customer service! They were willing to lower the price so I could do the treatment right then and there but I preferred to reschedule the appointment. That is the type of customer service you would like. They are very nice and professional people. I ended up getting a shampoo that he recommended because he was just great at his job.

This salon is phenomenal! Joseph always answers all my questions and makes me feel very comfortable. Not to mention the quality of the keratin I get! This is my second time doing keratin with Joseph, and Alfonso was also a great help. After an exhaustive search for an expert at Japanese Hair straightening, Joseph was recommended by the product manufacturer. Petrified to trust anyone other than "my guy" for the last 20 years in NY, I bit the bullet. So glad I did! At my request, Joseph contacted my former stylist to get a background on my hair before I even stepped into the salon. The BEST SALON in Miami, hands down. I recently received a Japanese straightening treatment here and I am blown away. I have naturally curly, thick, unruly, coarse hair that would take me 30 minutes to 1 hour to blow dry. Now, I can blow dry my hair pin straight in 5 minutes or let it air dry for a beautifully natural straight look. I have virgin hair so I was initially apprehensive about getting the treatment done, but my hair looks and feels so healthy still. I am a customer for life!!! Joseph has been doing my Japanese hair straightening for years now. I do not trust anyone else with my hair. Joseph is very patient and extremely skilled. Each time I get my hair done by Joseph, I am blown away by the results. Joseph's quality is amazing. He treats you like a priority and takes time to listen and his results show. I am updating my review below to five stars because this business took the time to correct it and was gracious about it. And despite this - never came back asking me to update my review. Me doing this is entirely on my own accord.
I went back and they reapplied the keratin to my frame , I washed it this time prior to exercise (if you sweat a lot as I do, i suggest you wash your hair prior with any keratin) and my hair is frizz FREE!!!

I was a little concerned how the experience would be and how my hair would look coming out simply because Nero specializes in Japanese straightening treatments and I was going in specifically for color. I didn't see too many reviews regarding coloring success stories so was a little nervous. BUT...now they've got a customer for life.
Kelli did my color and conditioning treatment and was so attentive to my needs and wishes. I came in with some SERIOUS roots on top of color stripes from where my previous stylist used different formulas each time I came in, so my hair was a bit of a conundrum

I have the curliest hair ever and I got the keratin treatment done for the very first time here. Joseph took the best care of me during my time there and I can say I am 100% in love with my hair now. It dries in half the time it used to and takes me only 30 minutes to straighten, something I could never do on my own before with my curly hair. 100% recommend to anyone looking to make curly hair way more manageable. Huge life saver on my hair. I have naturally very thick, wavy hair that is uncontrollable and difficult for me to want to wear down, especially in hot Miami. So naturally I would blow dry it straight and then flat iron it soon after in order to make it somewhat manageable. Because of all the hard work, I would avoid sweating and going to the gym and working out simply because I wanted to maintain all the hard work I had put into straightening my hair.

I have had my hair Japanese Straightened for 17 years now. Every one does the Keratin treatment here, but on super curly thick hair it is useless. I moved to Florida 2 years ago and kept going back to NYC for a straightening. I could not find anyone in south Florida . I am so very happy I found Joseph and the Nero Lopez Salon. I drove from Delray Beach to get my Liscio Japanese straightening and it was well worth the trip. It is the best JS I have ever had. My hair is silky shiny and smooth and does not frizz in the Florida humidity. I highly recommend this Salon. Thank you Joseph.

Had a good experience at the hair salon. I had a Keratin treatment done. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Alain did my treatment. Shampoo rinsing was amazing--very gentle and the head massage was soothing.
My only concern was that the Keratin product used was super strong and caused my eyes to burn and get watery during the process. After leaving the salon, I had an uncomfortable headache for the rest of the night and started to develop a runny nose. As soon as I woke up, I had to immediately rinse the product out of my hair. As soon as I did that, I started to feel better.

So it's been 4 weeks that I had the treatment done and it's been great! The results are as true as he says they will be! I had a little issue with a stubborn portion of my hair since sometimes that can happened to the hair and was able to call Joseph to explain to him. He was wonderful enough schedule me to get it fixed, these guys stick to their word don't doubt it guys! You can't go wrong with them!!! If there would be more stars I would add them! :) call them now for the most beautiful hair you'll ever enjoy.
