Craig Morris the owner of Alpine Stove and Chimney Service has been in the stove and fireplace business for over 30 years starting out as a chimney sweep apprentice in Southern California in the 1980's. Craig with a business partner began a chimney sweeping company which they built up into a retail store selling woodstoves and fireplaces.
After selling his share in the business Craig moved to the Lake Tahoe area in 1989 where he worked for local stove shops before becoming an independant contractor specializing in the hearth industry. In 1994 Alpine Stove & Chimney Service opened it's doors at their current location on West River street, providing the Truckee/Lake Tahoe area with an excellent selection of high quality wood & gas stoves, fireplaces, inserts and hearth accessories.

Alpine stove is the place. The wealth of knowledge that the owner, Craig, has is amazing. These guys helped so much I can’t thank them enough. Their level of service, attention to detail, and wonderful disposition in combination with how fast they completed my project made the whole experience better then I ever could have expected. If you have a stove that needs work, or you’d like to purchase a new one, do yourself a favor, stop reading reviews and call these guys now.
