Dr. Zachary Moran is a NH licensed Naturopathic Doctor and regenerative medicine specialist. He focuses on collaboration with each patient to meet their individual needs because he believes that healing is a combined effort with the patient. He is passionate about health optimization and performance, and aims to identify and treat the root cause of illness to bring about true recovery and healing for each of his patients.
NDs are licensed medical doctors in the State of New Hampshire. In addition to natural therapies, they are able to prescribe certain medications when needed. They also order laboratory tests and perform physical exams in order to reach a diagnosis. Naturopathic Doctors must first earn their bachelor's degree and fulfill pre-medical perquisites prior to entering an accredited 4-year naturopathic medical program.
Naturopathic Medicine is a system of healthcare useful in treating many acute & chronic health conditions. Underlying causes of illness and disease must be identified and removed before healing can occur. Physical exams and laboratory tests assist the naturopathic doctor with this process. Symptoms are viewed as an expression of the body's attempt to defend or heal itself.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Moran. We have been bouncing around between "specialty Doctors" for years looking for a resolution to several issues that previous Doctors said were unrelated. Dr. Moran was the first Dr. to treat all of my child's symptoms. He took extra time to ask questions and explain his treatment recommendations. He was a breath of fresh air and for the first time in years, I feel that we are headed in the right direction with my child's healthcare needs. I highly recommend Dr. Moran and the staff at Vibrant Health.

My initial appointment with Dr. Schertell for Bioidentical Hormones occurred 22, October 2020. In preparation for the meeting the naturopath recommended a twenty-four-hour comprehensive urinary hormone test to evaluate my hormone levels. I was also informed that the assessment should be done by an independent party. The parameter I was given in terms of my financial responsibility amounted to one-hundred and sixty dollars, regardless of the laboratory cost to my insurance. WARNING - My wife who has multiple health issues and is on disability for her mental health and cognitive issues made a first appointment with the naturopath, Johanna Mauss, to try and find some relief. Due to financial hardship and her confusion about the appointment (400.00 for first consult) and 3rd party tests (350.00+ out of pocket) we couldn't afford to be done, she had to cancel. BUT because it was not cancelled outside of their 24 hour policy, they charged us $200.00. A cancellation fee of $200.00..during a pandemic. Anyone who has a health problem who does not factor naturopathy into account is doing him or herself a disservice. I think allopathic medicine can work in tandem with naturopathic medicine. Think about it: what did we do before we had men and women wearing white coats treating us? We had herbal remedies, handed down by our ancestors, remedies that have kept us alive to this day (and that are now monetized by pharmaceutical companies). I do not eschew medical doctors or medicine. But doctors such as Dr. Schertell understand there's way more going on underneath than sometimes even MDs understand

Honestly, Dr. Scherell was my last stop. After years of being passed around, I had one foot in the grave. I could barely function. Today my life is so different. After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2013, Dr. Schertell started treating me. She has done for me what no other doctor could do. She is very smart and I love her dedicated staff. Dr. Johanna Mauss is one of the best health care practitioners in the Seacoast. I went in for chronic fatigue issues and boy did we dig through the problem. She does the most thorough exam and blood work I have ever had as well she is able to connect the dots on issues I didn’t know I was having!
