Since 1983, Oliver's has been a Rockrimmon staple serving up fresh, handmade food to Colorado Springs. Having worked in family-run restaurants her whole life, Betsy Oliver decided to bring her passion for locally-owned restaurants to Colorado Springs. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1983 and created Oliver's Delicatessen.
Today, Oliver's still features the same friendly service, homemade-everything and an enthusiasm for the people they serve. Betsy has three grown children who all still live in Colorado Springs: Andrew (32), Justin (31), & McKenzie (27) and just welcomed her first Grand Baby, Murphy.

Such a fantastic, old-fashioned, traditional, home-style deli with generously-filled sandwiches. This place is full of great service and quality. Today I was there to pick up a whole carrot cake for my son's 21st birthday on Thanksgiving. When he was young and homeschooled, he and I came often to Oliver's to lunch together and share a slice of their heavenly carrot cake and to split a turkey on sour dough with avocado. Such great memories! Still the best deli in the Springs, hands down!

We used Oliver's Deli for "make your own sandwich trays". We were renting an airbnb while in town for our sons wedding over Labor Day week-end. We were inviting out of town guests over to gather at the house. The food and service was amazing. The charge was on a per person basis and we had more than enough food for everyone. In fact, we were still making sandwich's the next couple of days from the food. We ordered pasta salad and potato salad as the sides, which were both delicious too. Just moved to the area and happened upon this gem; so, so glad we stopped in. The staff are fantastic and friendly; great atmosphere and very welcoming, just the kind of place you will want to take friends and family for a nice breakfast or lunch without the rush and noise. But that's not why you'll keep coming back...the food is Outstanding! My personal favorite menu item (easily ranks within my all-time top 10...ever!) is the namesake Oliver with pastrami...oh my, it's smack your mama good! Picked up sandwiches "to go" from here, and ate them while looking out at the painted mines. For a take-out order, they took very special care to put the sauces in ramekins, and wrap our soup very nicely for travel. Everything kept very well. Delicious sandwich combinations! What a great local spot.

I've been craving for a soup and sandwich restaurant lately. Having moved here from MS, it is hard to find food as good as what we are used to. This food is delicious! You get so much food, its crazy! Plus the atmosphere is outstanding. They sell Colorado local favorites, like honey, teas, hats, etc. I'm so happy to have found another wonderful locally owned restaurant. 5 stars for sure. Good people, great food!

I found this local deli shop after a quick search for lunch and it did not disappoint. We did go what looked like the lunch rush so there was quite a wait, about 35 mins, but it was worth it. My buffalo chicken wrap was stuffed with ingredients I could only finish half. I also got their daily chili cup which was also really good.

Delicious sandwiches and loaf breads! Stopped here before going on a hike to pick up some sandwiches. We ordered the Conquering Hero without bologna and I made my own pastrami sandwich. The sandwiches were so good and packed with meat. We also picked up a few of the loaf bread slices. The lemon blueberry and lemon raspberry breads were super moist and delicious. The banana chocolate chip was pretty good but not really moist. The staff was really friendly and the food came out pretty fast despite how busy it was.

A somewhat unassuming spot, almost a hole in the wall, but a diamond in the rough. The inside is very fun and well decorated. The food takes a little while to come out but I assume that's because it's all homemade and fresh. The service is very good, and the employees are kind and polite. All I've ever had here was the sandwiches but they are very good, and good sized too. I usually get the BLAT sandwich which is very tasty. Prices are good too. Overall a great place to go. I really want to try their fresh baked breads sometime too... they have all kinds!!

This spot is especially great because of their consistency in quality. I initially traversed the menu but eventually ended up just ordering the same, simple thing and it's quality every time.
My personal favorite is their carrot cake and their bread. For me, the sweet spot is a pastrami on marble rye with just pickles and mustard. Seems simple because it is simple but again... it's consistently top quality each and every time.

Breakfast or lunch anyone ?? This is t a fancy deli but it is all homemade and fabulous . I especially love the chicken salad stuffed tomato. It is so yummy and worth a try. Quiche is a breakfast favorite or mine as well as the homemade breads. Not too far off the interstate, refreshing and belly warming experience!

Tried this place a few time over the years hoping maybe the next time it will be better.
Nope.
Went there during a quick break at work since it's nearby. Middling Breakfast sandwich, but then I realized why I never liked this place - the rudeness.
It's really disappointing. Would be great to have a good local place to frequent. That's it. I won't be coming back.
