We can take the heat - We can also handle your thermal processing needs in-house with our stress relieving furnace and high velocity burners.
Zentech uses a Car Bottom furnace design to heat treat pressure vessels, reactors, steam drums, towers, stacks. Internal usable dimensions are 100' long x 19' wide x 17' high. The Car Bottom's capacity is 770,000 pounds. Parts are loaded on a track-mounted car, which is rolled into the furnace to form the bottom of the heating chamber.

Local Post Weld Heat Treatment operations utilizing the electrical resistance method will incorporate the use of our flexible ceramic pad elements. FCP's consist of a multi-strand nickel chrome wire encased with 98.2% alumina. The beads are designed to interlock to eliminate wire exposure.
The FCP's are designed for safe, traditional low voltage operation to provide quick and effective service for many jobs, but it is especially useful for preheating and PWHT.

The combustion method incorporates the use of our portable combustion units. Combustions units consist of 6 MM BTU gas trains, 20 HP Blowers and High Velocity Burners. Zentech burners are specifically designed to deliver the amount of heat required, commonly 1-6 million BTUs per hour and feature multiple safety interlocks and redundancies.
