Adventure Academy is a licensed Daycare Center in Castleton, Indiana, just northeast of Indianapolis. We strive to foster children's natural eagerness to learn and play by providing a safe, nurturing environment full of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities and experiences. My name is Lisa Gross, and I'm the Director of Adventure Academy.
I've been surrounded by children for my entire life. I became an aunt for the first time at the age of five and, from that point on, I was hooked. I babysat a lot as a teen, participated in an Early Childhood Development class at Carmel High School, and attended Butler University where I obtained my degree in Early Childhood Education.

Services
Enrollment pricing at Adventure Academy is based on the number of days attended, as well as age. We have a number of discounts available to families. We also accept CCDF as a form of payment. Please note that A.M. Preschool is only available for 3 - 5 year olds. For all classes, there is a one-time registration fee of $45 per child or $75 per family.
If you've dediced to enroll your child at Adventure Academy, let us first say, we're excited to have you! We can't wait to learn and grow with your child as they begin their journey throughout this wonderful world. First, please note that a registration fee of $45 per child or $75 per family is due on your child's first day and is required to hold their future spot.
From helpless newborn to active toddler, your child will grow and learn more in their first 12 months than any other time of their life. By the time a child enters his or her 2nd year, he or she has often become quite verbal and, though we may not understand every word, our attention to the stories they tell are is crucial.
Table food is provided for infants who are table-food-ready, including breakfast, lunch, morning snack, and afternoon snack. Whole milk is provided when your child is ready to make the switch from formula or breast mIlk. Sippy cups are also provided when your child is ready. From helpless newborn to active toddler, your child will grow and learn more in their first 12 months than any other time of their life.
Please supply one or more extra changes of clothes, as well as diapers and wipes for your child. Please also supply your child with a blanket for nap time. At Adventure Academy we want to foster that curiosity. We offer lots of time to move and explore, while also offering opportunities to sit and listen to books and try out sitting still (even if they won't stay put for long), but of course we still offer lots of time to cuddle.

I love Adventure Academy and so does my little man! I was so nervous about sending my babe to daycare, but the genuine loving care they have for the kids comes through in everything they do! The email updates and pictures throughout the day are an awesome reassurance as well!

Started our son here at 1 year old, he is 2 now and we love it. Our son bonds with his teachers, we can tell they treat him with love and respect. They have lots of activities throughout the day and play outside as much as they can. The director, Lisa, is fantastic at her job. Highly recommend this daycare, and you can’t beat it for the cost.

Lisa is the best Director... She is kind, sweet, caring, loving, all the things you look for in a director as unfortunately many centers lack this kind of compassion. I never had a problem while my baby boy went there for a year. We recently moved from castleton to Greenwood and that's the only reason my son isn't there now. It has taken me calling 14 places and touring 7 places to finally gone my son another daycare and I am still alil uneasy something I never was at adventure academy with Lisa. Hopefully my gut being a mother picked the right place. I didn't have to do that last time, I met Lisa

Lisa runs this center and her passion for childcare that is unparalleled. She shares in the joy and happiness of every single child she works with, and she never ceases to be amazed by the minds of children. As a mother of four herself, she understands the pains and concerns that many parents have. She works hard to make sure the center is a place where children not only grow and develop but have fun!
