Island Cooling installed our whole house fan in 2017. The process and service was top notch. Install went so smoothly and was arranged by Al Whitworth. We love the fan and use it nearly everyday. It really helps the ventilation in our house and keeps it cool. Just recently, we wanted the remote switch installed (as it wasn't available when we initially installed it) along with some other issues fixed and he arranged everything to go be done so easily. I have had nothing but great service from Al. He'll even follow up with the you on the work done. He's been so easy to work with. I highly recommend

Our Whole House fan wouldn’t shut off. I called Island Cooling around 8 PM that night and Al answered my call right then. I wasn’t surprised because the service is great. Al said he would have someone come out to the house the next day to fix the problem. A representative of Island Cooling came out an fixed the problem and there was no charge. Wow if that isn’t service, dependability I don’t know what is. If I need a question I need answered regarding my whole house fan Al from Island Cooling always answers my call. I live in Halawa and had a whole house fan installed about 2 years ago. Since the fan installation, I have only used the A/C a couple of times. All other times, have used the whole house fan. Keeps the house comfortable during the summer heat. Island Air (Ivan) is professional and very responsive to questions.

I've had my whole house fan (QuietCool) since 2011 and it's been running flawlessly. Very happy with how it cools my home, although it requires more frequent vacuuming.
Recently, I had some tenants cause some damage to my home. During the summer days, the sweltering heat can be brutal during the mid day. And on days when there's no wind. I've never posted on Yelp before but felt like it was important to share the experience I had with Island Cooling. We purchased a QuietCool whole house fan seven years ago (2013) from Al at Island Cooling. The two-fan system came with a 10-year manufacturers warranty. Just recently one of the two whole house fan motors began to malfunction. Last week Friday afternoon, I contacted Al via email explaining the situation and a video of the malfunctioning fan and he responded within 20 minutes to let me know that my fan motor was most likely in the process of failing, it was still under warranty

Island Cooling installed three whole house fans 2 1/2 years ago and I've been using them every day since then. My home in Pearl City has high cathedral ceilings and the three bedrooms are on the second floor. Two of the bedrooms used to get unbearably hot due to the afternoon sun.

The whole house fans have made a world of difference! They have most definitely cooled down the upstairs level and have also provided a lovely breeze coming through our downstairs windows. At night, it can even get downright chilly when we put the fans on high!
