Laser Impressions Inc. is the largest and most experienced laser engraving job shop in the Western United States. Established in Northern California's Bay Area in 1980, Laser Impressions pioneered the serialization of silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry. Following that breakthrough we expanded into medical, industrial and aerospace laser engraving in 1984.
Laser Impressions operates 13 Nd:Yag and C02 laser engravers that are fully tooled to handle cylindrical parts as small as 0.001 inch in diameter to flat sheets up to 4' x 4'. Our laser marking and engraving services are streamlined to handle everything from single prototype lots to large-volume production runs.

Services
Laser etching, laser marking and laser engraving provide a permanent message on an in-process or finished component. We can laser etch text, serial numbers, part numbers, company logos, bar codes, QR Codes, ID matrix codes or 2D codes on all plain, painted, anodized, or plated metal surfaces, whether they are flat sheets, curved surfaces, or cylinders.
Electronic Components: From serializing silicon wafers to laser services for engraving metal and plastic packaging for microelectronic circuits, Laser Impressions offers a comprehensive list of laser services for the electronics industry. Medical Instruments: Laser Impressions Inc. engraving process is approved by the FDA so medical instrument and medical component manufacturers have one less hurdle in the product approval process.
A number of variables can affect the final outcome when laser etching medical instruments and implantable devices. The wavelength of light, laser power, speed and frequency all have an impact on the final result of the laser etched or laser marked medical device. Because medical device laser marking and laser etching requires high precision and tight tolerances, .

I would write a long post if I could. They did a terrible job on our parts. We machined 20 units each costing ~$50 and hired them to laser engrave it. They botched up the job. The letters were not visible. When asked to fix they wasted my time. Asked me to come to their store and then didn't even properly review it and was quick to blame that they were different materials on the parts. Customer service is zero.
Further we gave them 20 units and they only returned 18. And kept blaming us. We checked our records in emails and validated our inventory and it was clear there were 20. But he just insisted

Brent at Laser Impressions was quick to point out the benefits his company could produce but he could not email me his proposal after waiting a week. I called him and he admitted he forgot to send me his company's quote but would make sure it was delivered that evening. I am still waiting and could care less now, His promises are no good, I will find somebody else.
