Found Bruce Barrios online & took a leap of faith that they would be able to meet expectations for my last minute wedding. Bruce was booked, so he recommended Jason. We spoke to many deejays and MC's before deciding on Bruce and we couldn't have been happier. He spent a significant amount of time with us planning the music and announcements for each stage of wedding from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception to make sure everything was perfect. We had the fortune to hire DJ Jason Henson for our wedding this June.
It was hands down the best decision we ever made. Jason worked with my wife and I on the logistics of the event, provided equipment, and made many helpful suggestions.
All of our guests loved Jason and his wife. They kept the evening going with great selection of music. Jason himself went to the dance floor at least 5 times to lead dances that got EVERYONE on the floor and dancing.

DJ Jason Henson is a legend. Got more compliments about his performance at my wedding than I did about anything else. He has a very professional, yet laid-back attitude that was extremely refreshing amongst all the other chaos that goes on at a wedding. Bruce was amazing! He was not only familiar with our venue but provided us with exact details of how the set up would be. Bruce is an old school DJ, still uses CDs which is so amazing. Bruce provided us with the music sheet and details in which the reception was going to proceed. He even provided these LED sticks that took the reception from fun to LIT! He NAILED it. All of our guests told us that we have had the best wedding reception ever.
We absolutely recommend Bruce for any event, but good luck booking him because he is extremely busy.

Like the venue guys said: "Bruce is the man!" Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding as we wanted to include a variety of music from our childhood in different countries to the music we listen and dance to now. Bruce is the best DJ you could ever ask for. He was the DJ for my bat mitzvah (2000), my younger sister's bat mitzvah (2003), and my older sister's wedding (2001). Agree with everyone! Both my boyfriend and I have been to separate occasions in which we experienced the awesome work of this DJ! Honestly, the crowds will stay on the dance floor for the entire night. Even for a traditional Mexican wedding, he cleverly combined music that the older crowd and younger crowd would appreciate and yes, plays tons of current latest hits. We were beyond fortunate to have Jason Michael Henson from Bruce Barrios Productions DJ our wedding last weekend. We met with him twice before the wedding and he was extremely helpful from the very first phone call to the last song on the dance floor! My wife and I hired Bruce to be our DJ when we got married 4 years ago and to this day we still have friends tell us how great he was. We hired DJ Bruce Barrios for our wedding at Spanish Hills Country Club and he was very professional, met with us prior to the wedding to discuss our interests, our musical tastes, special music we wanted and to buy us coffee.
