The ACMA Theatre Company is a program of Arts & Communication Magnet Academy (ACMA), a publicly funded arts magnet school for grades six through twelve in the Beaverton School District. We offer pre-professional training in the theatre arts, including acting, voice, dance, sound design and operation, lighting design and operation, and stage management.

A deep and emotional nontraditional play, it explores the depths to which humanity can sink-and the tolerance, understanding, and compassion that can rise out of it. Due to the mature nature of this play, we suggest that audience members under age 14 have parent supervision. The MSF Heart Challenge helps honor the 20th anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death and the founding of the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

As soldiers returning from war, Claudio and his friend Benedict visit Messina, where they reunite with the governor's daughter, Hero, and her cousin Beatrice. Two very different courtships ensue, marked by deception, verbal duels, and hilarity.
What if your not-so-beloved father died under mysterious circumstances but came back and told you to kill your favorite uncle? Prince Hamlet, a conflicted college student, has always had a difficult relationship with his father the king. King Hamlet often negatively compared Hamlet to the much more heroic, and macho, Laertes, son of chief advisor Polonius.
