Asbestos is a fibrous mineral that was used in many construction materials (walls, flooring, duct insulation, acoustic, roofing, etc.). Unfortunately, exposure to asbestos can cause lung cancer and disease. Many Building Departments are requiring Asbestos Testing to be performed prior to obtaining demolition, renovation or remodel permits.

Our tests are Certified and meet all requirements of the Federal and State Regulations as well as all building departments! Molds are usually not a problem indoors, unless mold spores land on a wet or damp spot and begin growing. Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins).

Asbestos is the name given to a number of naturally occurring minerals that have been mined for their useful properties such as thermal insulation, chemical and thermal stability, and high tensile strength. The types of asbestos that are regulated are: Chrysotile, Amosite, Crocidolite, Anthophyllite, Tremolite, and Actinolite.
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from the breakdown of uranium in the soil. In Colorado, about half the homes have radon levels higher than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recommended action level of 4 picoCuries per liter (pCi/L):. Your home is usually warmer and has lower air pressure than the surrounding soil, so gases in the soil, including radon, move into your home.

Bryon and Jason were amazing! I had received several other estimates to clean up some water damage and old mold and they were the only ones that were willing to work within such a small area without having me to remove my water heater or furnace. Jason was very knowledgeable and kept me informed of what was going on and what steps Asbestech takes to complete the job while other companies do not. Showed up on time each day and were very professional. Pricing was very reasonable. Would give them 10 stars if I could.
