I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your help and support throughout my very emotional journey. You guys have seen me at my lowest, but I always left your company knowing and trusting I was in good hands. The integrity and respect you showed me (and my husband) throughout the divorce process has left both of us intact and cordial acquaintances.

A year and a half into a contentious custody dispute and acrimonious divorce, I met Neil Fredman and Ken Novenstern, attorneys at Fredman, Baken and Novenstern. During the most painful time of my life, I was finally in capable, compassionate hands.
Neil and Ken are not your typical lawyers. From the get go, they focused on doing the right thing. They have heart, and most definitely appreciated my situation. Despite the emotional turbulence of those months, working with them was a pleasure.
As I got to know them, I saw quickly how well they both know and understand the system. They have relationships

Neil Fredman and his team represented me durning my divorced. Neil and his associate Shari went above and beyond to make sure we unturned every stone, advised me on every decision with compassion to ensure my children’s best interests, and supported me during a very difficult time. Neil’s confidence and knowledge of the legal system earned him respect in his field and that was evident during meetings and trial. When Neil speaks the court listens and that is an attorney you want on your side. Trust me on this, he is an attorney you want on your side. I would have never made it through my divorce

Luck was on my side when deciding to use Ken, Liz and the rest of this outstanding legal team. My life experience is such that I don’t have any contact with the jurisprudence (or any other aspect of the legal “industry”) of New York state, with the exception of a real estate attorney I used a couple of times over 20 years.
Come fall of 2019 I found myself in need of serious legal advice. This time it wasn’t real estate, but rather separation/divorce. Depressing stuff.
Early October: Enter Ken Novenstern, whom I contacted over at Fredman,Baken&Novenstern.
An initial consultation was set

Ken guided me through an extended mediation, giving me excellent advice and suggestions throughout the process. As a result, I was well-informed, and succeeded in shaping an agreement that was fair and decent for me. He always took into consideration my personality, my intention, and my rights. I trusted him completely, and was so pleased with his assistance.
