Alberto's has been serving the "hottest green chile" in Greeley for years! What do our patrons say? Best Mexican Resturaunt Anywhere - Best mexican food anywhere. They have hamburgers for the kids who don't like mexican food, my grandson loves the enchlidas. The wait services could be better sometimes.
They have great breakfast burritos and their green chili is wonderful. HEAVEN ON EARTH - One of the best moments of my life was graduating from college at the University of Northern Colorado. It was also one of the saddest because I had to move back to Denver, away from the best food I have ever had.

Albertos was amazing back in the day when the Morales owned it and Nolberto still cooked the green chili. I went and had lunch a few weeks ago and it was horrible. The lettuce smelled and taste of a smelly refrigerator. I let the server know this and she talked with the manager who told her to tell me they just cut the batch of lettuce and that she would make me a new one. UMMM, why would I want more nasty, smelly lettuce? I guess she does not realize her refrigerator is dirty, yuck. The health department needs to go check this establishment, ugh!!!!

Do not recommend! False advertising on prices.
I ordered 2 bean & chicharonne burritos supreme. Price online shows $6 each. They charged me $13.99 each.
Also ordered 2 bean and guacamole tostadas. Online price shows $2.10 each. I was charged $7.25 each for a tostada. $7.25 for a Tostada!!! When I went in to pay total bill charged was $46.57. When I asked why so much I was told their price was correct that they just haven't updated their menu prices online. I paid but had I known before hand I would never have paid $7.25 for a single tostada! Will never return!!! This restaurant has terrible

The service was SO BAD. Obviously our waitress was brand new and completely clueless about the menu and super busy. NOT her fault!! Management should have trained her and not put her in such a busy section! Got the $19.95 Carne Asada (not my first rodeo with getting this) and the piece of meat was so tough I couldn't even cut it with my knife (butter knife) but hey, my dog liked it!
My son got the Carne Asada Burrito (well he thought that's what he was getting) but came out with chunks of beef and.....it was supposed to be the "meal" but no beans/rice.

Seriously? We placed a simple order over 2 hours ago. We did this through NoCo Nosh. Still no food..... one hour ago Alberto's blamed it on the order not coming through the fax. Who uses a fax? Fast forward 1 hour 15 minutes later and they said the driver just left. Order placed at 12:00 it's now 2:21 and no food but they sure charged us!!

We've been fans of Alberto's for decades, but after last night we can't go back again. They don't even rate 1 star. The cheese enchiladas had almost no cheese, the jalapeño poppers were greasy & fell apart, the salsa was too salty, & worst of all- no one in the kitchen was wearing a mask. We miss the old Alberto's!

This place is usually really good....however today 10/4/20...the food was bad...we ordered hard shell tacos with ground beef...and the hamburger was burned badly making the tacos taste terrible...I tried to call to at least inform them so they could fix the issue....and got hung up on and put on hold for 30 minutes then hung up on....not sure whats happening...but definitely not acceptable...may not return if bad quality food continues

The place was clean and bright.
However, the service could have been much, much better. We asked for a pitcher of water, knowing we would drink a lot. After 2 of the 4 of us had emptied our glasses, and after 1/2 way through the meal, she brought it. This was a Sunday evening and they were not that busy at all.
Also, 2 of us ordered combination plates - (side of rice and beans) and didn't get it. But one of us was charged for it, and one of us wasn't.
I asked if the rellenos were made with poblanos or aneheims

We went here tonight because we eat Mexican food in honor of my mom on her birthday every year and it's close to our apartment. I got the stuffed sopapilla with chicken and rice and my spouse got 3 beef tacos. They were huge and delicious! We both loved the rice and the chili was flavorful without burning my mouth off. We got an order of honey sopapillas to go and they were also delicious. Definitely plan on being back.
