It all started when I was in search of my own rugs back in 1996. I've always had an appreciation behind the art that goes in to creating a rug. An opportunity arose so I decided to become part of an existing rug store here in Louisville. I learned a lot in six years. In 2002, I decided to go on my own and never looked back.
My goal was to create a rug gallery, where our clients felt comfortable shopping and had a positive experience while receiving the best customer service! I wanted an inventory that was more unique, and special than any other store. My philosophy has proven to be a success. In the process, I have met incredible people and made some amazing friends, all while helping them find what they were looking for.

Services
Here at Anabel's we have a trained and experienced team of professionals who hand-wash all rugs for you. We do NOT steam clean or use any harsh chemicals that could damage natural wool fibers. We use a mild shampoo that is safe on wool and protects the lanolin (an oil coating found in wool that makes it so durable.)

Anabel has assisted us with our last 3 homes , each different in style requiring a designer touch which she provided. Her try before you buy was very helpful as the rugs we looked at in her showroom looked great but they were different when we put them in our actual house . She was patient with us and guided us to the perfect fit. She has quality rugs at fair prices and has become a family friend. She also stands behind her products and makes any corrections required without any hassle. We enjoy doing business with her and certainly recommend her and her staff .

We decided to buy not only one but two rugs from Anabel's Oriental Rugs. I had always been told to begin your design of your room from the floor up. After going to the store and experiencing the color, clarity, selection and quality we found exactly what our home was needing. Anabel made it so easy, showing us so many rugs and ideas. To make it even better we had her fantastic delivery people bring out possible rugs, move our furniture and place the rugs in our home setting so that we could see them with our furniture and lighting. Anabel’s Oriental Rugs is a great place to purchase rugs for any room in your home. From the moment you walk through the door, they are ready to help in the selection of your rug, but without pressure to purchase. We worked with Lauren, and she was so helpful, and made several trips to our home, bringing selections to “try, before you buy.” Delivery was fast. Installation was seamless, and the gentlemen were very careful while fitting the rugs into our rooms. We highly recommend Annabel's for the most pleasant oriental rug shopping experience.
