Built on a track record of success, our qualified team has a combined 50+ years of experience in this field. Our team works together to ensure the talent solutions we deliver are best-in-class, whether a search takes us through calm seas or the most challenging of waters.
Typically, our searches might include Manager, Director, VP/SVP, and C-level assignments for larger companies, or VP to C-level assignments for slightly smaller companies. From a cash compensation standpoint, we perform searches where the base salary of the position is above $130,000. This broad range of positions represents a major gap in the capabilities of other search firms.
Our standard retained fee is one-third of the incumbent's estimated first year cash compensation (this includes base salary plus sign-on bonus and any expected annual bonuses and commissions). The fee is divided into three equal parts with an initial retainer due up front to commence the search. Then, the remaining two payments are due at 30 days and 60 days out from the date of the initial retainer.
As a retained search firm, we are engaged by a client company to conduct a specific search assignment. We are paid for our time, whereas contingent recruiting agencies are paid only when a hire is made. This is because we do not simply send resumes to our clients and hope they are well received. We are consultants to our clients and earn their respect by providing valuable insight, thorough assessment, and strong candidate recommendations.
