EX Design Group's residential motorized exterior patio screen can do much more than protect you from mosquitoes, sunlight, and heat. They are weather resistant to reduce incoming rain and snow while staying safe in their sturdy metal housing. The shade materials also prevent UV rays from damaging porch furniture, decor, and outdoor fixtures that often fade, crack and peel under the harsh Texas sunlight.
Should you require assistance outside of our installation warranty, our standard service call rates will apply. Exterior shade system parts are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for five (5) years from the original date of purchase. Electric motors are guaranteed for five (5) years from the original date of purchase under a separate manufacturer's limited warranty.

Our home was destroyed Roof to Floor from SOFTBALL SIZE HAIL .

When our shades were installed less than a year ago under a contract with a one year warranty. It turns out that one of the shades had detached from the frame, and that there is a small tear in the fabric at this site. The shades have only rarely been used.
The company is now changing the rules and not honoring the one-year warranty and are requesting a $300 service charge just to come out to see whether the defect is warrantable.
Avoid this company like the plague!

Exdesigngroup.com I want to thank Monica, Victor and the EX Design group staff for a great job! I had a most pleasant experience watching the installation of a Large Porch Automatic Shade that was built to spec for my porch. The installers, were meticulous in insuring all the specs were met while installing the electrical conduit to the shade, and precise measurements taken and adhered to while installing the shade.
