Tekton Woodworks has been providing custom designed furnishings in wood, metal and stone to churches since 1995. Our portfolio includes altars, ambos, pulpits, baptismal fonts, chairs, pews, ambries, processional crosses, processional candles, stations of the cross, etc. Everything that can be found inside a church.
We work with pastors, their architects and building committees to design spaces and furnishings that are theologically correct and enhance the life and flow of the liturgy. And we can design custom furniture that fits into any budget. Tekton Woodworks began when our founder, Deacon Tom Tosti, saw the need for quality church furniture that wouldn't break the bank.

Services
The most common question we hear from clients is when they should enlist the help of a liturgical designer. Oftentimes, the design and layout of the liturgical furnishings is left to the end, and that can lead to problems. In a perfect world, a church should be designed from the inside out, and the flow and placement of the furnishings should be looked at from a liturgical point of view.
Tekton Woodworks renovated the 125 year old sanctuary of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ogden, Utah. We had to match the beautiful marble high altar and altar rail, making the new furnishings look as old as the originals. Materials used were quarter sawn white oak and Carrara marble.
Pieces included the altar of quarter sawn white oak and white Carrara marble mensa and columns, an ambo of oak with marble columns, a presider's chair with 24K gold inlaid cross, deacon's chairs, candle stands of oak and marble, and a beautiful custom altar for perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

We designed and fabricated new liturgical furnishings, and put together a plan for the new interior design.
