All of our equipment is rated among the top in its class. We have one of the best Mobile DJ sets in Northern California, which will provide a modern look to your wedding or event. Contemporary DJ's is properly insured for all venues. DJ's standard attire is a black suit, white shirt, and black tie to all hosted events unless requested differently.

Every event is unique, so we build a custom playlist based on your style to guarantee that all of your guest have a great time. Planning a wedding is hard enough as it is, then to add Covid-19 to the mi!!! It can really make a couple go crazy! Even though we were unable to have our Wedding as planned because of the pandemic, Robbie and his Team handled EVERYTHING with professionalism! Responding to us quickly and allowed us to breathe easy! I've been to functions with Robbie on the 1's & 2's and I JUST KNEW we were about to have the best party of 2020!!! If you’re looking for a DJ Service with multiple options like an MC, lighting, photo booth, photography etc Rob is your go to guy! Very impressed with his professionalism! Very responsive to all requests no matter how last minute they are. He handled it above and beyond expectations. We had our wedding under Covid-19 restrictions and had to move our venue and he handled it very professionally and on point with no delays. Definitely recommend Contemporary DJ’s!!! You won’t regret it!!!

DJ Rob & his team are the best! They truly made our wedding so fun. Rob is a professional and handled all of our AV, DJ and reception audio needs. He was hands on in helping us create a custom playlist & walked us through every step of the process. I was impressed with his organization and thoughtfulness on details! Rob did a great job MCing our event and keeping things on schedule. I would highly recommend contemporary DJs & plan to work with them again in the future!

We loved working with Contemporary DJ's! We worked with Rob, and he was so great at accommodating all of our requests. We had such a great night and he helped it run so smoothly.
We really enjoyed using their website to create our own playlist of likes and dislikes, too! The software was a little outdated for this, but it got the job done and was a huge help so that we could have music we actually enjoyed at our reception.

This company is just top notch. We booked our wedding in 2019 for May 2020. From the start, I could tell this company was a cut above. I had interviewed 4 other DJ’s and while others were good and highly rated, I just didn’t connect with them.
Contemporary DJ’s staff have a really individual approach to their business, I felt like they got to know us as a couple and bonded with us. They are described as a boutique business which I liked because I like the more one on one experience.
Then comes covid. We initially decided to postpone and they were organized and swift to help us with that

Contemporary DJ’s are the best of the best!! If you want your party to hop, have good communication & an awesome team on your side > book these guys!! We have been working with Rob & his team for a couple of years now & we are big fans. If you’re planning a wedding, they have a 2 man crew (not common) + they are pro-active about checking out the space prior to the event. They don’t just play the same songs you always hear, they curate the night to fit your style! As a wedding planner, the DJ is my right hand man. Thank you guys for always making our job easier and our events smoothe!!!

Contemporary was recommended to my husband and I by our wedding coordinator. I have to say, we were definitely not disappointed. They had people dancing up until the very end and kept everyone entertained. Rob did an amazing job at choosing the right songs that fit the crowd on the dance floor. Not only did Travis keep everyone involved and entertained, he also kept a very large group of people on time with our timeline.
