My husband and I have been coming here for taxes for the last 3 years, however my husband has gone for 5. He's always paid around $250 for his taxes to be done and has been coming back loyally. This year, we received a bill for from the company for $595!!! There was NO WARNING that there was a price increase beforehand (otherwise we would have gone somewhere else- which now we will). So I called, and I will say, the staff is kind, and the woman who does billing was able to have the owners decrease my bill to $425. She explained that each year there is a 5% increase. I went to a CPA for my personal taxes because I wanted to be sure they were done correctly. I have taken accounting accounting courses, majored in Economics & have a commercial banking background.
As it turns out, I was the one who had find THEIR ERRORS! For my 2018 taxes 1) they put 2 sources of income into 1 classification, 2) Showed on a form that I would receive a certain refund. When the amount I received was short by $1,200, I had to call to find out where it was. Turns out they prepaid my 2019 taxes with it, without notifying me. 3) Prior to my finding out about the prepaid 2019 tax
