We have both our homes, our cars, and our boat insured with Amy Wakem Agency. Amy and all her associates are top-notch. They are knowledgeable and very friendly and if I ever have a question they are quick to respond and help settle any issues. They bring the small town feel to the big city. I've been a client of Amy and her team for over fifteen years now, and with State Farm for even longer, and with good reason. She and her staff are always incredibly quick to respond to any issues and questions that I have about my coverage. My e-mails are almost invariably answered within a matter of minutes, never more than an hour or two. My premiums are very reasonable, making policy changes is incredibly easy, and, best of all, in my opinion, I don't feel like I get a hard sell for additional insurance products every time I talk to someone at the office. We've had our automobile and homeowners insurance with State Farm for over 40 years. When our first agent retired she turned us over to Amy Wakem and we've been very pleased. Fortunately we haven't had to make claims but she meets with us every couple of years and we go over the policies. She always has suggestions for better coverage or ways to adjust the policies to save on premiums. Never any pressure, just providing information. Highly recommend this agency.

Dan has been outstanding! I was with another insurance company for 18 years. I needed to add a 16 year old driver. My jaw almost hit the floor with the quote I received from them.
I called Dan at State Farm and I was quoted less than half of the others company’s rates... and am getting MORE coverage. Dan and the State Farm agency are life savers. The attention to detail and the way they make sure more money stays in your pocket, while getting the best coverage is unheard of in the insurance industry!

We joined Amy Wakem State Farm in November 2020 after our previous insurance had a huge rate hike. They were able to save us over $50/month on our insurance bundle (auto, home, RV). We enrolled in the Drive Safe and Save program. We’re now 6 months in and found out due to our good driving habits that our monthly auto premium (for 2 vehicles) is reducing by $60/month!

How much coverage do I need? What are the benefits of a lower deductible? Should I have an umbrella policy? Is a friend covered if I let them drive my car??? Amy Wakem and her team are knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to communicate with. No question is ever a silly one and they make sure our coverage is exactly what we need. We had a huge claim from a storm in 2017 and Amy was making sure all details were covered the minute I called her.
