I reached out to this shop to alter my sofa cushion to a smaller size and they did a great job! I brought in my cushions on a Wednesday and was told it would be done by Friday and they actually finished one day early which was a lovely surprise. The cushion looks like it was never altered! In addition, their staff was very nice and a wonderful gentleman helped me bring in the cushions and also bring them out to my car when I picked them up, which was a nice and very appreciated gesture. I would definitely use their services again.

I had my cushions on my L-shaped chaise/sofa converted to just a sofa (getting rid of the chase lounge section) and the work was magnificent. We used the extra material to even make a sofa pillow which was much higher quality craftsmanship than the original sofa. Couldn't be happier.

Great communication. Very prompt. Very organized. We have now had two pieces of furniture reupholstered. A recliner, and an older sofa. Their work included replacement of cushions and padding. They did an awesome job on both pieces and they finished them ahead of schedule.
We live in Vista and found the trio to Hilcrest to be well worth it. We highly recommend Hillcrest Upholstery and we will certainly use them again. The only complaint is location: Parking is a challenge, particularly of you have a large vehicle like we do; however, the staff of Hilcrest came out and unloaded/loaded the furniture

Hillcrest Upholstery had the best ratings on Yelp and I needed a quick simple custom repair before it unraveled. One minute to fix mad didn’t even charge me. Called them on the phone, they gave me a very reasonable quote and time frame to have the seat cushions of my sofa rebuilt.
I took my 6 cushions there, picked the foam I wanted, gave a deposit and 3 days later, as promised, my cushions were done.
No hidden fees, didn’t try to sell me anything.
BEST PART? They are a family run mom and pop business... wonderful people and I shopped locally.
The whole experience felt great. Looks like they can do anything in there. Keep them on your short list for all re-upholstery needs.
Plus, easy parking.
I’d write more, but I have to nap on my new cushions

This is not a fancy establishment, but you definitely get a sense of family operated. The quote I received was fast and easy, thank you Estela. The turnaround was promised to be no more than 2 weeks depending on the availability of the fabric I selected. It was done in 1 week. I am super pleased with the workmanship, especially the piping.
