Pretty much the greatest tree removal service out there!! During the ice storm of 2021, two 40yo oak trees fell on our property; one on our home and one on our neighbor's. Jason was incredibly responsive! We're talking a matter of hours during a natural disaster when he was receiving an excessive number of calls asking for help. Not only did Jason and his team respond quickly, but he was willing to assist my neighbor who also needed help. Jason's team was quick, friendly, and were able to do both houses the same day! Our neighbors hired J & J to have some tree's removed. They trespassed on our property and when we tried to talk to Jason, he is extremely rude! He has no respect for other people's property.
As you can see from reading Jason's responses to his customer's, what he lacks in spelling, grammar & punctuation, he clearly makes up for with his refined unprofessionalism.

Wanted to take advantage of a recent storm to rip off their neighbors. I was trying to keep it local for tree limb removal after an ice storm. He wanted to charge me $600/hr because he was so busy. I had an estimate done. An appointment had been scheduled for a Friday, with no communication until Monday of the next week when one of the J's called and said "Hey, I am ready to come over to give an estimate." The whole job now was on the line for them because they had already misinformed me to begin with, the appointment day. When a tree fell on our house, we called several places and J and J was the company that answered our call to come and take a look in a timely manner. They came the next day at the time that was scheduled and did a great job removing the tree from the house and the tree next to the one that fell. Also, they took a look at our other trees for potential disasters and found one that needed to be removed. Then trimmed other branches that were hanging over the house. Thank you so much for all the help and making sure that we did not have another tree disaster.

I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! I have zero complaints. When I originally called for an estimate, the phone was answered by a real person. They were able to come out and give me an estimate the next day. Jason was very nice and before he left I was given an estimate of the job and a price which I really liked. I called to hire them for the job and they were able to get out quickly to get it done. They were prompt when they showed up and they were very professional. They were pleasant and efficient and got the job done well in a timely manner. Do not trust this company to do what they say. It does not matter if you get it in writing. If you want to deal with inflated invoice after the fact, irresponsible damages to your property and the property of your neighbors, lies, rude behavior from the owner and employees.. then this would be fine. This place has great prices - because they are the bottom of the barrel and all they can do is cut prices instead of offering quality service. Spend a little more and get a good company to do the work for you. You might get lucky and get okay service from J and J Tree and Stump Removal but... what if

J&J gave us a quote for removal of a very large number of trees from our residential property, the job involved very tall large trees and was near the power lines and the house and shop. The price quoted was very competitive, less than other quotes. Jason sent out his "crew" of five with chippers and a bucket truck. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up as they went and we were pleased with the care they took. Then the stump grinder came out and took care of the stumps and also did a couple of old ones from trees taken down before. A HUGE job (43 trees) done and no problems, we recommend

Professional crew that made quick work of my trees that were right next to a house. They even went out of their way to do some extra work when it wasn't part of the original job.
