First time in DC and we decided to try this place. Worst food on the planet earth. I got our food delivered to our hotel and everything was undercooked, like are you kidding me? On top of that, They didn't provide any condiments, utensils, none of the sauces that's supposed to come with the food(as it says it on the menu)so, even if I wanted to eat this trash, I couldn't. This place needs to be shut down. How are they even in business? Just horrible horrible horrible and over priced. You should be ashamed of yourselves. We were so hungry waited so long for our food and this is what you get delivered

The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. And the on-line prices are a joke. In some cases the on-line prices are doubled. They charged me $11.49 for this tiny slice of cheese cake. I picked up carry out from them yesterday. The corn nuggets were so hard. The shrimp & scallops were over cooked. The sweet potatoes were raw in the middle. I'm done. Hopefully they will improve so I can return. I voiced my opinion to the manager Aerial. She walked away and shrugged. #imnotafool.

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ORDERING THROUGH A DELIVERY SERVICE FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Mid Atlantic doesn't care about orders from supporters who aren't physically in their restaurant. My first order from Uber Eats, they completely omitted half of my meal. My second try, I again ordered from Uber Eats. I ordered 2 lunch meals (receipt pictured). I received a breakfast meal with Doordash on the receipt (also pictured). If you aren't physically at the restaurant, where you can actually check your order before leaving, your order is most likely going to show up completely wrong.

The name might be Mid Atlantic Seafood, but their other food is great, too. Had BBQ ribs, nice and spicy, lots of meat. Homestyle coleslaw and potato salad complemented the spicy ribs. And that raspberry donut cheesecake? Oh. My. Goodness, yes!! Have ordered from them in the past; food is consistently good w/ generous portions. Give 'em a try, support local businesses!

Great options was in town only for 2 days and I always look for new places to eat instead of the gib name brand place and I stumbled across this place with soulfood and seafood I found my heaven lol great food and service thanks I will be back probably tonight with my boyfriend when he gets off work lmao 😂

I have been frequenting Mid-Atlantic for several years - both locations.
If you're lucky, you may be able to beat the crowded parking lots and long lines. However, it's rare in my experience.
I've tried so many items from their menu, it's hard to remember exactly what. But I love their fried fish, fried seafood(scallops not so much) as well as the baked trout stuffed with lump crab. For sides, I always get kale, collard greens and mac & cheese.
The fish/seafood is fresh and made to order. So be prepared to wait. But when it comes out piping hot and the deliciousness just melts in your mouth
