Millie's Drapery & Decorating was started in1968 at the home of Mildred & Wiley Dougherty. In the beginning, all of Millie's custom workmaship was done in a small storage building on the property. June & John Kinsey bought the company from Mildred in 1980. June, Mildred's niece, combined quality workmanship with unmatched customer service to build Millie's into the company it is today.

Millie's Drapery & Decorating carries a large selection motorized window treatments including Hunter Douglas blinds and shades.

Can not say enough about the owners of Millies. I took my couch cushions to them to figure out what was causing them to be so uncomfortable. The company that sold the couch to us was no help at all. Melissa took time and was patient with me about my issue with my almost new couch. To my delight and relief Melissa figured it out and recommended a fix! Truly terrific people to do business with. I could not be happier with my extremely comfortable couch.

Millie's Drapery did a super job for me. I brought in my grandmother's sofa that had good bones but had seen better days. Melissa helped me look through fabric for almost 2 hours. Se listened to what I hoped to accomplish and then even picked out the fabric. When I picked up the sofa, it was beautiful!! The upholsterer had to fix the bottom of the sofa before working on it. I cannot say enough good things about Millie’s Drapery! I worked with Melissa on drapes, a crib skirt, and recovering an ottoman for our baby’s room. She was so kind and wonderful to work. Everything turned out perfect and the quality is second to none. Chris came out a second time, without me even having to ask, to help install drapes after I had ordered the wrong hardware. If you want great service and beautiful quality work, Millie’s is the place to go.

Excellent Craftsmanship. My wife has been sewing for many years and is extremely particular about how things are sewn. She was extremely pleased with the craftsmanship of the work. Melissa was awesome to work with as she helped with fabric selection, came to the house to get accurate measurements and made extremely helpful decisions we did not think of. The work was completed before the promised time and the installer could not have been nicer. Based on this experience we will get other drapery done in other rooms. The particular project had involved extremely high ceilings and windows. Bravo for

I went with Millie’s due to their longevity in the business and I’m so happy I did, they are very professional and family owned which means they take pride in their work. Melissa come out to measure and help me pick out blinds for windows and made sure I was happy with my choice. Then her brother and father came out to install, they were professional and explained how they worked due to them being remote controlled and they fit perfectly. I could not be happier with their service. I would highly recommend them,
