I believe that we can achieve our potential to live fulfilling, happy lives through a holistic, whole-body approach to diagnosis and treatment. At Movement Counseling + Wellness, we provide evidence-based, customized treatment plans in a safe and welcoming environment. We ask the question "Where have you been and what have you experienced?"

Our team of mental health clinicians and other professional providers incorporates individual and group counseling, nutritional services, yoga, and personal training, as needed, to promote growth and well-being and guide our clients to empowerment and transformation.
Services
I'm Cathryn Derman, founder of Movement Counseling + Wellness. After years of working in a variety of clinical settings, I am delighted to launch a therapy practice that offers a multi-faceted approach to wellness from a team of like-minded and creative individuals. When providing care, I ask the question "Where have you been and what have you experienced?"
We work with clients who are ready to better themselves and work towards living a healthy and happy life. Our clients are adults, adolescents and children who want to more fully understand themselves and how their past plays into their current reality. We work with individuals who experience ADHD, anxiety, impulsivity, and relational issues, and who want to learn new behaviors to create an easier, more fulfilling life.
Brianna earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drake University and her Master of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College. She discovered her passion for acupuncture at a young age, when acupuncture treatments helped relieve a strong flu-like illness that Western medicine couldn't solve.
Our Academic Support team is committed to helping your child develop the organizational skills and self-accountability they need for long-term academic success. Reset will be a journey into yourself with the support and wisdom of like-minded community. You will be guided to reset your mind and body from the past year by creating intentions and actions as you detox and plan for your post-pandemic self. We will identify what self-care looks like for you and how to get from here to there.
