We are a 3rd generation Father & Son Futon business serving Southern California for the past 45 years. Everything we make is 100% made in the USA. Word of mouth has been our family's biggest success because we only make extremely high density beds made from Solid Medical Foam that will last for years, we don't use any springs or pieces of cotton that can cause damage to your spine.
We make one style of futon which is our Tri-Folding Futon and we make them in two sizes, (Single Size) and (Double size). Both futons are the exact same length but the Double provides you with extra width.

Futon John is great! We purchased a double sized futon from him over 10 years ago at the swap meet. Even after 10 years, it held its shape and did not sink. Due to an unfortunate event (someone throwing up all over it) we had to contact him to buy a new one. We scheduled an appointment and met at his house where he makes these incredible and durable futons! Only $120 for local pickup. He ships too in case you don't live locally. We also learned that he sells new covers for just $40. No bad odor. No mold or mildew. Nice and firm futon mattress. Highly recommended!!

Five years ago, before we left Santee and moved to Utah we stopped at the flea market looking for bargains! I literally stumbled on John and his futons! What impressed me was the picture of a gargantuan sumo wrestler sitting on top of one of John's futons with no impression marks. I knew then that I wanted one for my oldest son who always slept on the floor. My oldest tipped the scales at 350 lbs easily! Best product. Some look similar but don't compare. Futon John uses quality high density foam that's made to last! I purchased my full size over 18yrs ago and just last yr (2018) I took it in for a new cover! SUPER comfortable, made to LAST, SUPERB mattress! My family has purchased 4 more because they have LOVED mine.

Smooth deal all the way through! I emailed asking if a single size fabric was available for a double size at a crazy hour, and got a pretty early but appropriate response. It was processed timely and got here just as I was wondering when i should expect it, which was only a couple, maybe few days. It is a little stiff but I'd rather adjust to it. Atleast I know it'll keep its shape, and baby doesn't move If I'm moving or walking on it. I liked that it didn't have smell and came in a plastic bag instead of just cardboard. The covers do not look like they want to come

These futons are amazing! I have had one for years and it's literally in just as good as shape as it was the day I bought it over 10 years ago. I use my futon every time I have guest over and they love it! They always have different color and pattern options to choose from and they are always at Kobe's swap meet.. Same spot every time I go. And now I just found out they have a website up and running so for all my family and friends that use the futon when there in town can now go home and order there own online!
