The Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home, formerly the Jacobs-Waltner Funeral Home, was founded in 1917. It remains one of Canton and Stark County's oldest businesses that still resides in its original location. Family has always used this funeral home. The director told me theyve been in the same building for 100 years (they must know what they're doing) and a truly beautiful building inside and out. They didn't have ANY hidden charges, the price they quote is the price you get. Truly unbelievable prices too. Another review said they were the lowest in town, and they are. Best service in my opinion too. Staff is so helpful. Gave us a beautiful urn for free...no cardboard box. They have lots of ways to keep cost down. I can't express enough my gratitude for this funeral home. Going anywhere else is crazy

Ron is very kind, compassionate and sincere. This is a comforting and wonderful place to leave your loved one in great hands. When my Father passed away, I was shocked and afraid I didn't know what to do,… when I met with Ron I knew that was the place for my Dad. Ron gave my Family a sense of piece. And he gave my Father ALL of the dignity and respect that he would have shown to his own Family. I am grateful to have found this Funeral home and I would refer anyone in my place to do the same over and over again.
