One of the greatest joys I personally find as a woodworker is when I am presented with the opportunity to aid in the creation of a stand alone piece of furniture. There is a wonderful feeling of bringing raw rough lumber to a beautiful glowing piece of finished furniture and to be able to share that experience with the client is extremely rewarding.
