Established in 1983, Bexley Optical Boutique was founded by owner optician Larry Haas. His goal was to create an independent optical shop where the customers are treated like family. Our service and commitment to our customers is the utmost priority. Licensed opticians Steve Ford and Larry Haas have worked together for over thirty years.
We take all vision insurance. We discount for your insurance, and then, as a non-participating provider, we are able to submit for you to receive an additional reimbursement, which is sent directly to you. The better insurance plans offer these reimbursements so that you can choose where you prefer to have your eyewear made.

I had never been to Bexley Optical before so I was not a customer. However, a pair of frames that I bought when I was in Hong Kong 18 months prior broke and I called the manufacturer and they told me to go to a local dealer who sold their frames. Bexley Optical was the closest so I went there. I could not have been happier with their level of care and concern about my frames even though I had not bought them there. The manufacturer was a bit difficult, but boy did Bexley Optical go to bat for me. The manufacturer finally relented and sent me new frames that were under their warranty. The entire
