He emphasizes that each meal is made from scratch and that he makes his own sauces fresh everyday, utilizing local ingredients - including some from his own garden - whenever possible. Zaman will return to the Taste of Pickerington this year to defend his title. Last year's winning cobination was his home-made lasagna, chicken Alfredo and tiramisu.

This time around, he's considering bringing back the chicken alfredo, but switching out the lasagna for spaghetti with meat sauce or meatballs. Taylor Woodhouse is a contributing writer. Tonight was our second visit and we again enjoyed our visit very much. We like that you can customize your dish to your liking.

Chef Mohammad Zaman prides himself on serving up homemade cooking your grandmother would be proud of - assuming your grandmother is Italian, that is. Zaman - or Chef Z, as his customers know him - is the owner and chef of Omezzo Italian Restaurant, 1755 Hill Rd. N. Open since 2013, the restaurant quickly gained attention, taking home the coveted Purple Spatula award at last year's Taste of Pickerington.

Really nice place tucked away in a strip center in Pickerington. Traditional Italian food with red sauces but very nicely done . The bread was served with a garlic olive oil dish ,fresh and cut into small pieces to dip.
Wait staff, knowledgeable and attentive.

Picked up a carryout order on 11/22/21 consisting of Lasagna and the Chicken Parm Sandwich.

Staff were attentive and courteous.

My wife thought the sandwich was pretty good. In retrospect, I wish I had followed suit.

Sadly, the so-called Lasagna was simply a soupy bowl of pasta shells (perhaps manicotti) smothered in tomato sauce with meat bits (emphasis bits) and cheese. It was neither appetizing nor enjoyable. I doubt that I will return for such a poorly prepared dish.

Lasagna tasted just like stouffers as somebody else said a couple days ago, also the garlic bread tasted & smelled old. The chicken piccata was good though.

Although I have eaten here many times, and my girlfriend often request I take her here, I can't believe the way I was treated this evening. It was like I wasn't even a human being and my time didn't matter. I went here to pick up a carry order and was asked to hide in a back room. When I asked why I had to hide in a back room, because it seemed rude, I was berated by an angry woman who seemed more interested in arguing with me than doing much of anything else. Although I agreed to wait, a man who I presume to be the co-owner came out to ask me "what the problem is". I told

This was our first time trying Omezzo after seeing all the reviews about the place. I was craving lasagna and after much indecision between Omezzo and another local Italian place we've been wanting to try, we chose Omezzo. I called and placed a pick up order and was told about 20 minutes. Not a problem! I arrived about 25 minutes later and another gentleman walked in ahead with a pick up order as well. He gave the woman at the counter what he ordered, then paid and was told it wasn't ready. She then asked me. I told her what I ordered, I paid my bill and was told it would be about two

Wish I could have given this place a 5 but I am reviewing the dine in experience as well. The head chef (owner?) greeted us when we came in which was cool. Nice small non chain restaurant, which is way too hard to find in Pickerington.
When we sat at the table and my wife noticed a little fly in the parm cheese shaker. (Gross much?) we told the server about it and her response was, "oh that's ok, it's summer. I won't tell anyone about this, wouldn't want to upset the chef." What the heck???
So the meal went on and we placed our orders and I asked if we could get

I admit I may have been dubious about this place at first, but I was pleasantly surprised with our first visit. The place has a nice family restaurant feel, not too fancy but cozy. The service was quick and attentive.

The food was better than I hoped. We ordered the bruschetta, Italian wedding soup, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmigiana. All were cooked and seasoned well. The entrees came with a side of angel hair pasta that was a little over cooked for my liking but tasted good.

Certainly will be back to give them another try soon.

A delightful evening meal. Having such success with the to go option, we ordered a delivery from the main location. The chicken Alfredo was rich and creamy. To split it we got a side of chicken as well and were excited to see how well seasoned it was. The cheese bread was identical to the experience at the to go location. The wedding soup was a win. Amazing flavor combination with sausage and chicken chunks.

Best Italian on the Eastside Not sure why the only picture is of pizza when that's basically a kid option. For adults it's the Pasta all the way and Chef Z is awesome. He checks with tables to make sure you are satisfied and is willing to change the order to what ever you desire. I would give Chef Z a 10 if I could and the restaurant a 8 only because the staff is not motivated to Mrs Z's expectations and have to be told to do something instead of taking the initiative.

What a hidden gem! First time here, but certainly not the last! We had reservations as it was Valentines Day weekend, and we were glad we did. The atmosphere is nice, however the seating area for inside dining is very limited. There were some walk-ins that arrived as we were dining, but most people had reservations. The menu has a good variety. We decided on salads and an entree'. The salad was a typical salad, nothing special. I order the Omezzo Trio, which was lovely. Great flavor and large portions. I have been searching for an authentic Italian place for a while and I think I have found

So spent Valentine's Day at Omezzo - our favorite Italian . They were so busy which is awesome to see in our Covid world . Even the next door sister business Omezzo Pasta Bowl to Go had people waiting .
Most of the restaurant seemed to be patient and understanding - after all , the owner is the chef ! We just enjoyed our Masi red wine and relaxed .
He had shrimp corn chowder as the special soup - delish !!! The shrimp was so tender and not over cooked at all . Then I had the risotto with shrimp and lobster .
Risotto is hard to find in central Ohio and when you do find it , so many over

The restaurant was smaller than expected when we walked in. The staff was very friendly and the waiter had many recommendations as it was our first time being there. The bread and oil was good, however it could have used a little more seasoning. The side salad was just your typical salad. I ordered the chicken Milanese which was very good. The combo of the two sauces was very good and the chicken was crispy and juicy.

The two stars are for the decent-tasting Lobster Bisque and generous portions of food. My husband and I tried Omezzo for the first time three or four years ago, when we were still dating. He thought it was okay, while I thought it was over-priced and, well, gross. Fast-forward to today, when we were both craving Italian and decided to give Omezzo a second chance via Omezzo To Go. My husband ordered veal parmigiana and I had spaghetti & meatballs. It was, without a doubt, the worst Italian food to ever cross our lips. I agree with another reviewer who wrote that the sauce had a strange taste

Two of us have gone two different times so all in all we tried 4 dishes. To be honest, not one was edible. Their sauce has a strange taste like something that shouldn't be in it. Most pasta dishes have way too much cheese and way too little of the terrible sauce. I'm dumbfounded to find so many good reviews. I'm done.

I got spaghetti with the sauce stirred in. I'm not a toddler. It was drowned in cheese. Dried nasty old kraft Parmesan cheese. Inedible!!

The beer menus had only pale beers. It's winter.

There was One lasagna noodle swimming in a bowl of tomato soup. Inedible as well.

The bruschetta was tasty but poorly done. It wasn't melted on the bread but just heaped on.

What a complete failure!!!!

Listen, when I say "abso", you say "lutely".

ABSO-LUTELY. ABSO-LUTELY!

Decided to come here on a random day. Granted, it was very packed in here. Please take into consideration that this is a very small venue which means that it gets packed a bit faster.

That did not have any impact on our food, the wait, or the service.

Let's keep a note that I tore THAT BREAD AND OIL UPPPPPP!!! It was soooooooo good. Wow. I just shed a tear thinking about it. Our server was very sweet and had the most relaxing voice ever. She made sure we had something on our table at any given moment

A great little Italian restaurant. Doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be fooled. Authentic Italian. Good ingredients and a decent wine menu. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.
