James Sanderford, PE has over 20 years experience in sitework, asphalt placement, and engineering. James is both a licensed professional engineer and general contractor. Southern Asphalt, Inc. prides itself on having one of the most experienced personnel in Eastern North Carolina. All of our foremen and key personnel have been with us since our inception.

Southern Asphalt, Inc. specializes in fine grading, paving, resurfacing and sealcoating. We also offer stone installation, curb and gutter, light grading, pavement markings both paint and thermoplastic. Our primary jobs are industrial and commerical parking lots, turn lane widenings, and subdivisions.
