What can I say that properly conveys my level of satisfaction and gratitude for this local IT business? I could start with the incredible amount of professionalism I received when recently dealing with a perplexing (frustrating) situation. I had an important & relatively high end piece of hardware start to abruptly fail. No bueno, because it's essential part of my work. I had originally thought that my issue would be rectified by a quick repair and was going to be relatively cheap... but it turned out to be a headache. By accident my husband deleted files on his work computer. This computer is 2001 vintage. Because of an earlier interaction with them we not only had a secondary computer and a new hard drive with the needed work information. They did their magic and got his work file back on his primary computer. The program that he uses is very out of date and not even available any more. So a HUGE THANK YOU TO ADEPT.

Adept Computer Services accepted my laptop on Wednesday (24/2/16). The screen stopped working and I told then I had a sinking suspicion that it might not be hardware. I told then that when the screen was somewhat functional, but it flickered on and off.
When the screen wasn't flickering as much, it'd only flicker on certain programs. Never would it flicker when I had explorer in the foreground. The issue got worse every time I rebooted the computer to the point it'd flicker whenever it was on to the point it would be mostly blank with the occasional flash of the screen.

Let's start off by saying that it's taken me almost a year to leave this review.
Am a new resident and during the upheaval of moving, somewhere in the midst of the chaos my PC broke down. Complete and utter meltdown, would not boot up, decided it had enough of my daily gaming abuse. Well, fine!
After seeking help from not one but TWO local services that for whatever reasons did not return my call, I happened upon a tucked away business called Adept Computer Services. Hopeful, but cautious, I was able to speak to an ACTUAL person over the phone and hooray, they confirmed that they could

After Adept saved me for the fourth time*, I figured a 5-star review was the least I could do for them.
We've all been there: over-worked, under-motivated, out-computered. Am I right? Last week I experienced my official, THIRD, mechanical hard drive failure. There's nothing in this world that makes my voice quiver, reduces my knees to jell-o, and causes me to break out in a cold sweat quite like the death rattle of my insufficiently backed-up hard drive. I think this fear stems from the loss of my undergraduate thesis many moons ago. As an undergraduate, a failed hard disk meant re-typing
