Upon H.M. Prather's retirement in 1965, our father, Buddy Prather Sr., took over the family business. In 1979, his son, Buddy Prather Jr., joined the company full-time handling all day-to-day operations. In 1992, brother, Marty Prather, joined the company. Our father served as president of Prather Paving until his passing in 2004.
