Kobolt Studios Inc. was created by Jerry Ulibarri in 1994 as a small art shop providing hand-painted murals and custom faux finishes. Since then, it has grown and expanded out into all aspects of the design world. Consisting of a talented team of designers and artists, they have worked with retail designers and architects to create branded environments for museums, restaurants, retail stores, libraries, hospitals, and offices around the world.
Kobolt works in-house and on-site providing signage, vinyl application, installations, sculptures, decorative paint, large format and 3D printing, custom furniture and props, painted graphics, and many other services. Equipped with a full wood shop, a CNC router, laser cutter and Mig Welder, Kobolt can produce an array of projects all within the studio, which is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio.

We went here as part of a Cub Scout Pinewood Derby workshop. Everyone is very helpful, provided guidance and had experience with the equipment. The interior of the location is as you'd expect for a spacious workshop. High ceilings, concrete floors, and all kinds of equipment. The boys in the Scout Pack were very impressed, as were the parents.
