Our Venue is located on a functioning farm. We love it here. We want your event to feel like you have invited your guests to a mini-vacation. Our goal is to provide a beautiful secluded location and immersive environment, minus the additional stresses and costs found elsewhere. Services
Family owned and operated since 1852, our 400 acre ranch is located on the outskirts of Esparto, California, at the gateway to the beautiful Capay Valley. Native grasses, sweeping greenery, and walnut orchards border our half acre event lawn, which is backdropped by a two acre pond. To the west impend the captivating Capay hills, blessing guests with an incredible countryside view and daily golden sunsets.
They worked as prospectors in different locations in the area, including Hangtown, earing around $8.00 a day. They spent the winter of 1849-1850 in a cabin near the American River. That July, the brothers returned to Sacramento to purchase cattle and mules. They drove the stock west of Sacramento to the Berryessa land grant, Canada de Capay, on the banks of the Cache Creek (known then as the Jesus-Maria River).

My husband and I got married at the stunning Historic Oakdale Ranch in October of 2018. Chelsea was our wedding coordinator and a joy to work with! She was extremely helpful and kind. We loved this venue because of the flexibility it offered to have the ceremony at the pond and the reception in the barn. Getting to bring in our own catering for food and bartender for drinks at no additional cost was a huge bonus! The views of the property and great price were what sold us on booking this venue and we could have been happier with our choice! Our wedding was honestly the happiest day of our lives
