First time at this restaurant and I must say that the food was pretty good. While I had it to go I would only say this...that nachos should never be packed up for take out. They became soggy by the time that I got them home. I also ordered Thai shrimp tacos that were great!! Definitely would try those again.

Turned me away at the door for no reason when the rooftop bar was open. Refused to serve me. This was during the summer. It just came back to me as I’m having a conversation with a friend about the bar. To this day idk why I was turned away, I’m over 21, just got off of work and was trying to grab a margarita. Menu was taken from me and was just told no. I can speculate. Maybe it because my skin color? My natural hair? Yeah haven’t spent a dime or never will spend a dime here. Black woman avoid this place smh.

La Roca's has amazing food and customer service, lot's of fun! JJ the manager is awesome, very attentive to customers, as is Zach and all the other staff. Jamie is an incredible bartender, very hands on, loves to chat with customers and make them feel at home and overall this is an excellent atmosphere for blowing off steam, celebrating a party, or just dancing and drinking! Have a wonderful time and big props to the new management and owner!! TRY the taco fries!

Stay away! Not black people friendly. The owner as well as some of the servers are racist !I went here and the servers completely ignored me didn't take my order didn't give menus or anything ! The bartenders also are known for drugging guest which is very disturbing . They didn't have water for about a week and was still operating

Went here on a sunny Saturday afternoon for the rooftop view (and lack of other options on Main Street due to the crowded weekend bustle) and was very impressed with the indoor aesthetic and the margs!! I got a mezcal+jalapeño margarita... to DIE for.
Unfortunately, the food was not up to par.. steak fajita's meat was so chewy I couldn't cut it with a knife (perhaps over cooked?) OR my teeth, and the flavors were quite bland for Mexican. Served on a cafeteria lunch platter, also not very appealing or appetizing.
Furthermore, we were surrounded by loud, drunk 20-some-year olds by 4pm

Overall, we had a great lunch. The prices were right and the menu had variety! I had the small nachos with chicken. I thought the portion size was perfect for the price, and they were tasty nachos. The chicken pieces were almost cold though, which didn't stop me from eating them all, but I would have preferred them warmer. My wife had the crunchwrap. Also tasty- but we were out off by the giant piece of what looked like fat from the carnitas. It was almost the size of half the crunch wrap. Still way better tasting than Taco Bells version though!
The space is cool and I wish it hadn&apos

Excellent food, subpar service, not COVID safe
I feel bad giving a bad review because this place has been excellent before but tonight was pretty bad. The menus had food stuck on them, it took us 20 mins to get drinks, we didn’t get napkins/silverware, and the chip tray had food splatter and an unknown burnt thing. The table behind us was literally at arms length, no way near 6foot. Many guests were walking around without masks and no one said anything. I know times are tough and we’ll be back because the food is tasty, but I don’t think we’ll be here anytime again during the pandemic

The elotes were 💯!!! We all enjoyed whatever food we ordered. The drinks were fantastic. The staff was friendly. Everyone I'm my group was there for the first time, and we all agreed we would go back! The only slight thing was it was very loud and there were few people for the degree of noise there was. The ambient music was also enjoyable!

This place provides horrible service!!!! I group of us are seniors In college and wanted to order take out. We wanted to wait by the bar and have one drink while we wait. That's when they asked us for ID. We were all ok with it. All of us are 21 and older. But the manager refused to serve us!! He's excuse was how our Drivers license looked FAKE!! I asked him to please scan it! And he fused!! He insulted my intelligence!! The funniest part is that we've been here before. This will be our third time being here and I've never had experienced this treatment. I am aware of freshmen

Despite all the shiny wrappings, my experience at La Roca was very underwhelming and quite possibly one of the worst taco joints (national chains excluded) I've been too. La Roca seems to tick off all the boxes a hip, up-and-coming taco place needs to have. Great decor, great use of space, and selections of food and drinks in a nicely designed menu. But the food does not live up to the hype at all. You're better off making your own tacos at home. To top it off, the day I went to La Roca, their machines were down and it took over half an hour to get separate checks for people in my group

I was here 2 weeks ago during the pandemic and my friend and I got a table upstairs. The staff was nice and being safe wearing masks. It's pretty dark up there but nice if you want some mood lighting. We ordered guac and chips for the table. It came out pretty quickly and they were good and crisp. I ordered the fish tacos and my friend ordered the quesadilla. The tacos looked good but as soon as I picked it up, it fell apart, straight out the bottom. There was no chance. It made it pretty difficult to eat, so i asked for a fork. Tacos should never have to be eaten with a fork, it's just

I came in when there were not many people. The bartender was nice guy who cared about freshness and taste. He explained what "Roca" means (lava rock) We had a great conversation. The upstairs area looked nice. I can imagine that this place gets wild at night. Their selection of Tequilas and the amount of skulls decorating the place is what drew me in and I didn't regret it.

I have a friend who visited this place several times and told me to try it out, he then told me that management change and food was not as good, but drinks were ok. I went with my in-laws who came for my wedding. I have to say it was by far one of the worst experience ever... the mojito was good and so the guacamole! The rest of the food was horrible!!!! The beans tasted like the have pour a gallon of lemon juice in them. The tacos, I mean like I was embarrassed because I know tacos are spicy if you ask for them that way, no one was able to eat it! I didn’t make a scene because there were several
