My name is Lona Saccomando. Some folks call me "Tink".Tink was my call-sign when I was in the Navy playing Goose (Top Gun anyone?).I got out of the Navy nearly ten years ago, replacing the thrill of flying in pointy-nosed jets with the excitement of meeting-filled desk-jobs and starting a family.
While I've always loved photography, I came to truly understand the power of a photograph when we nearly lost all of our images of our first child's birth because of a hard-drive failure (luckily, we were able to recover a handful - whew!).People ask why I love family documentary photography. I guess I'm drawn to family documentary and lifestyle photography because of its story-telling, moment-based approach.

Some of my favorite times are when I cuddle on the couch with my kids to browse through our albums together. I don't care about frilly things or materialistic items (except maybe my 5-wrap bracelet which I wear everyday).

I would give Lona a five plus star rating. She was amazing. She comes prepared with a great location, directions for every detail, and patience for children who don’t love getting their picture taken. She has an amazing eye to see pictures in a different way and was so easy to work with in post production.

Lona is an exceptional photographer to work with, and provided amazing photos for our family. She has a wonderful rapport with kids (and adults!), and was able to bring out their spirits and our family dynamic through the images. I would highly recommend her for capturing moments in an authentic and artistic way that selfies and iPhones could never replicate!

Lona was great and very helpful. She is very knowledgeable of location for the time of the year. She was able to captured all our smiles. She is very organized and patient in working with my family. She is also fun to be with, we didn't even feel like we are having a family pictures taken. She is so comfortable to work with. I highly recommend her for any family photo needs.
